Actually, all they want, is to be fed, because it is what they know, and that is why fledglings have a bad habit, of approaching people, in the hopes of being fed, and it’s something that is a common occurrence where I live, after the parents abandon their fledglings, and they approach people making their cheep cheep sounds, which they use to stimulate their parents to feed them, which is why they don’t care about the parents, but they do want to get food as easily as possible…….
Baby doves are so cute when they are hungry 😂 Tho they act like they are starving all the time Their little dance Is so cute they get soo excited my pigeons when they where babies do It too but doves have the most adorable weeps 🥺❤ working with them Is fun I love the little beans
I have 3 doves that live in a tree in my backyard, 2 come down everyday for food so I give them seeds and they're adorable as fuck. I think the third is a baby, I just don't see all 3 together as often.
Here in Australia it's illegal to let them go after rehabilitation. They are non native and classed as pests. I actually have a baby like this 1 right now that is going to be picked up in the morning by a lovely lady that rescues these babies and keeps them. They will never go hungry, be attacked by predators or domestic pets. I think this baby dove is beautiful 😍
I rescued a fallen young dove too. I realized that playing sounds of adult doves will stimulate it to flap its wings. After multiple trials, it even took off, had its first flight a few feet up and landed on the string where we hang out clothes. The young guy was grateful, and flew came back to me. Tends to stay close to me even after 8 days.
at middle school, i found a dove on the ground when going back home from school, i took it with me, mom won't let me look at it at my room, it died to cold probably, survived 2-3 days i hate my family sometimes cause they are so stupid
Please be sure a dove is really abandoned, the parents will care for it on the ground if you just give it a safe spot there. Also when they first leave their nests the all live on the ground awhile with parents visiting regularly, usually at this point they look a lot like in this video.

the poor bird wants its parents :(
That bird is fully fledged, and they’re often left alone, for extended periods or for good, when they reach this stage…….

Hello How are you ? I love and like pigeons, when I leave school I always feed them forever, thank you very much for sharing❤🎉
Baby dove flapping their wings means they’re hungry, please feed me
That is not always true. They really don’t seem to know what hungry and full means from my experience. They just do that for attention.

What's with their wings? Why are they going crazy?
She was excited, she flapped her wings like that whenever we played the noise, or showed her food, or walked into the room.
Baby feels heartbroken for their parents that shot by the hunters
not shot by hunters, doves like this are often orphaned because of predator animals that hunt for birds or simply because it fell from the nest.
bro if you ain't being facetious I think you've been watching too much Bambi
