The first people to do haka were maori then everyone else copied but we maori are the only ones that know the meaning and mana of haka and know how to do it properly
Yes true that live in Hawaii but there community is made up of nothing but mormons they respect the Hawaiian lands trust I have family that’s married to ppl who lives in Laie and they respect the Hawaiian culture deeply, but the please don’t only go off on one school for doing the Haka no one has a problem with Kahuku doing the haka just you just saying
Youngsters are representing the Polynesian culture whether its Hawaiian, Samoan, Tahitian, Tongans , Maori etc. they represent all Pacific Islanders. Proud of all these youngsters playing football instead of on the streets acting like gangsters.
@@marvinpostadan3484not hating bro but tongans doing a sipi tau arent representing all polynesian cultures they represent tonga when samoa do the sivi tau they rep samoa same with fiji and same with maori. I get that a maori elder wrote this haka for this team but wouldnt it mean more if one of ur elders wrote something for you all? Wouldnt that hold more mana for you's?
This is Legendary 🔥,Truly embrace the Mana🔥🔥🔥
Are you aware that Kahuku School is or maybe the Only School that Honors Their Culture.
Must not forget the Community at large
Children of the Earth high school in Winnipeg, Canada honours their culture too (Canadian Indigenous culture)
@@richardcourchene7477do they have a haka or traditional dance in Canada
@@up.northbro no. Canadians barely have a tradition to call theres. They aren’t really known for much. And culture is not among those things. So no
Love it! I watched a Kahuku home game years ago and felt welcomed and at home by their people.

You live in Hawai'i, not New Zealand. If you are going to represent the deep roots of Hawai'i, than do the HA"A in Hawai'ian, silly boys.
A guy from New Zealand was the one who made this haka for them silly boy
