Although it’s speeded, up seeing the whole build, you still see the amount of work and the transformation it went through. Your certainly an all round mechanic and a dam good one Dean. Cheers.👍🏽😎
I have watched most of the series on your Golf GTI and it's amazing. You have given me inspiration and awe from this video. I am a collegiate student, who wants to get hands dirty with learning automotive parts and VWs outside of my major while in school. I know I am not giving a checklist of the salvage title I found (seems to be pretty good re-fixability), but should I learn from a salvage like this and rebuild on my own time? Keep up the great work!
I like the original color better, but then again I prefer darker colors and in the end, it's just my opinion/preference. Aside from that, the wrap looks awesome!
Recently wrecked my mk6 and am looking to rebuild it. Where did you get a majority of the parts? Do you know of any places that I could get parts for cheap. Thanks very much. Great video!
Just out of interest how close would you say that silver is to your s3 8l colour? I only ask because I have an s3 in the same colour and the paint is a bit rough and after watching you wrap the golf I'd really like to give it a go. 👍
check this guy out Dean, he can teach you allo`t and you need "going to town" clothes, your Audi jacket has nothing on this guy! hehe. think he`s wizards evil brother or something. awsome if watch hole corvette video on The internet machine!
Parts didn't arrive in time for this weeks video! But there will be a new Golf video out Monday or Tuesday! Have a good weekend.
A reminder of all the hard work that has gone into this Golf, on top of your day job Dean 👍👍👍

Very close to be fair 👍🏽
What product do you use for wrapping the car?
2:08 where do you buy the piece you are welding please ?
Very smart. Hard to believe it’s the same vehicle. Out of interest, how durable is the wrapping. Does it damage more easily than a painted finish?
I’m new to wraps so I can’t answer that I’m afraid.. I’m 5 weeks in and it looks good still 😂
Nice
You should write down how many hours in total you've spend on that repair. Great work mate.
Another sub here thanks to Carwow👍
How much wwwould this cost the costomer?
Dean, help please!! Where do you buy new pins for connectors when they are smashed??
I take them out of old connectors I have lying around. Main dealers sell them though
@@SavingSalvage cheers! Thanks for the reply. Didn't know the dealers would stock pins. Golf's looking top notch.👍
Great job .
🤘🏻
👍🏾 👍🏾
Did it not need to go on a jig?
Nope, chassis was all fine
What kind of suspension does golf have?
Standard, there’s a speed bump at the farm I barely get over standard 😂
How much would the repairs cost the costomer
Lucozade Orange lol
Covered nice dark grey with boring silver 🤔
où habitez-vous vidéo cool
You didn't tell us you can wrap 👌
I didn’t know I could.. I’m still not sure I can 😂
Mate fair does all by your self but why silver it looked better black and you should of left the wheels original

No wrapping, no!!!
I hate wrap...
wrap colour is awful , but wheels are worse, looked better wrecked
Specsavers have some pretty good deals on at the moment I think. Give them a try. 👍🏽
