I can't quite explain it, but that was the moment of my conversion. I have never been the same again. Eight months later, in December 2005, I was accepted into the Catholic Church. I stood there crying tears of joy and gratitude. It felt like "coming home". To this day, I still say it was the happiest time of my life and the best thing that ever happened to me. Thank you so much, Pope Benedict XVI, for showing me the way "home". Thank you for everything you have done for the Church. I will forever be grateful. Requiescat in pace! 🖤🕯️

Daniel, Mr Barcaroli está correto: não é a Toccata do Dubois. Certamente é um improviso tocado pelo organista do período, o maestro James Edward Goettsche. Mas há 14 anos atrás, tal improvisação também me chamou a atenção. Ela é muito bela. Aliás, me recordo que o maestro Goettsche era um exímio interprete de Bach, e ótimo improvisador.

Nessuno mette in discussione l'opera di Papa Francesco e qui non si tratta di mettere a confronto due Papi comunque grandi e importanti nella loro specificità. Francesco sta facendo molto, ma troppi dimenticano che senza la rinuncia coraggiosa e veramente rivoluzionaria di Benedetto XVI, ora non avremmo un Papa energico come Francesco, ma un Papa stanco e debole. Francesco sta facendo fruttificare al meglio il sacrificio e il lavoro non meno importante di Benedetto XVI.

Tell us where in the Bible says that anybody can create own churches, disobey the teaching of the Apostles and make the Scripture say whatever each person want.

He was - and still is under Vacant Seat - the last Vicar of Christ of Holy Roman Church
I have to admire him for his courage to accept this enormous responsibility.
