Acts 2:38 If you haven't spoken in tounges then you do not have the Holy Ghost. In Acts chapter 8 the Samarians believed on Jesus and were baptized in Jesus name but it states: (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) Acts 8v12-16. They believed and were baptized but they did not yet have the Holy Ghost. In Acts 19,1-7 Paul met desciple's who believed in Jesus but they hadn't yet received the Holy Ghost. Paul then baptized them and laid his hands on them and they received the Holy Ghost and spoke in toungues. For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people. Isaiah 28:11 KJV

I have received the Holy Spirit recently. I cannot begin to articulate how incredible I feel. I cannot believe I did not seek the Lord of Lord’s and the King of King’s sooner. The amount of miracles that I have been able to manifest in front of family and friends through the Father and by Jesus’s love and gift, have been mind blowing. I have never felt true happiness other then when I fell in love. But this love is beyond words. I am changed forever. I tearing up writing this now. May the grace of Jesus be with anyone who reads this.

I just received the gift of tongues today during our worship 😭 can't explain it. I am just so happy! Edit: This was a year ago. And I just remember we were preparing to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. So we have Sunday worship together with the Youth and sessions right after. I don't know exactly how it happened, all I remember was, we were singing Broken Vessels..my eyes closed then I asked God for His presence. I started crying but not because I am sad but full of gratefulness and joy as I feel His presence. While crying, I can feel the tingling sensation with my whole body, hands shaking, and I just prayed in tongues. I remember I am about to say "Thank you, Lord" but came out like the Holy Spirit is thanking God for me. After our Baptism in the Holy Spirit, I am blessed to have other gifts too. Prophecy and vision too. ❤ PS. I am shaking while typing this.

I was speaking with to God not to long ago. I felt him. I felt him I was praying the prayer of saving and I felt him. It was like a bolt of energy went through my body right through my heart. I was shaking. I have tried to see him. And I did. He is real. He is real. And I know he is my Savior. He is my father. Amen!! 3 weeks ago I received the baptism of the holly spirit, I was lost in the world but Jesus save me from suicide tough, depression, anger and anxiety. The only thing is that I don’t pray in tongues yet.

I wish David would talk about that. When he was done talking I didn't even get to the prayer part because I thought I was doing good, getting better at cleaning out the sin, being baptized 7 months ago but didn't meet his criteria. I had to cry and am crying typing this. This was one of the most depressing things I've ever heard him say in his videos. I don't meet his check list.
@@whodat3700 Jesus continually works on you when you have accepted him. It is not always an instant thing. Stay in the word. God reveals Hisself to us through the word. Stay in faith and believe. God is still working on me and I am 70 yrs old. He is ever faithful and has never left me. And He won’t leave you. I love you in Jesus name.🙏

@@rickspalding3047 Hello! To be Saved you have to do 2 things and it's completely free: (I use this rhyme) Turn from sins, and trust in Him. We have to repent from our sins and ask for forgiveness, and just have faith in Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. We don’t get saved by works because nobody is “good enough” to get to Heaven, but doing these 2 things will help us and guide us in our lives. Our beliefs govern our actions so serving Jesus is just following the 2 greatest commandments. {Matthew 22:37-40} “Jesus replied: “37‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” The 1st commandment is to love God above all else with everything else. You do this by growing your faith which is getting invested into your Bible, praying, and spending time in God’s presence. Loving is also listening, so when the Holy Spirit speaks you listen and obey. Loving others is done by asking God for the Holy Spirit who will bear His Fruit in your life {Galatians 5:22-23} “ But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The law is not against such things” to equip you to love others. Another act of showing love to others is spreading the Gospel, which is the good news of Jesus. So, because we love God and want to follow His commandments {Mark 16:15} “Then he said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” and because we want to share how Jesus saves us from death and hell we love others. As a summation here's how we serve God: We serve God by being saved which only takes 2 things having faith by His grace and saying no to sin’s face (repenting), and we grow our faith in God by praying, reading the Living Word of God, seeking His face, and obeying Him, we also grow our love for others by asking the Holy Spirit to bear His Fruit in our lives and spreading the Good News with others. @@rickspalding3047 Man! That describes how I feel too, don't worry. I dealt with compulsive thoughts thinking that if I didn't xyz that I was being disobedient to God. This might sound cliche but the best advice I can give is trust God. Trust that He sees your heart and your eagerness to follow Him, and that He can and will use you in Jesus name. Whenever you get a strange thought and you don't know if it's God or not, ask Him for confirmation. For example, Gideon {in Judges 6-7} literally saw an angel of the Lord face to face, heard the angel’s voice, and heard God’s voice but he still asked for a confirmation and God gave it to him (4 different times even at the last moment!). God will continue to pursue you if you are willing, and not just give up if you didn't hear Him the first time. Samuel {in 1 Samuel 3} thought it was Eli the first 2 times God was calling him. God still was revealing Himself to Samuel and didn't give up. When you surrender to the Holy Spirit you trust that He will equip you for the tasks that He has planned for you, that He will lead you and guide you, that He will not give up on you. When God wants to make a point to you, He will get His point across. Once you say “Holy Spirit I surrender my life, it's Yours. I want Your will on Earth as it is in Heaven, have Your way in my life” and you are actively striving for a friendship and relationship with Him, He can and will use you. {Jeremiah 29:11} “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. “ {Proverbs 3:5-6} “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. He isn't going to be mad at you if you aren't sure if it's Him or not, ask Him to help you recognize His voice {John 10:3-4} “The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice” We have the Living, Active, Word of God (Bible) so to know God’s nature we have to get in His Word. I’ve always had the question but what if it's vague (Ex- “Go eat that apple over there”) then we ask God for clarity, for confirmation, and a clear conscious (aka a peace that surpasses all understanding {Phillipians 4:7} just wanted to keep the alliteration 😅) We have to wait on God and His promises that He won't leave nor forsake us {Deuteronomy 21:6} that He has a plan for us{Jeremiah 29:11}, that we lean on His understanding not ours{Proverbs 3:5}, He will renew our strength while we wait {Isaiah 40:31} and all these other things. It's way easier said than done (i know for sure) but it is so worth it when you follow God’s plan for your life, just trust Him and take it one day at a time {Matthew 6:33-34} “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank You for Rick’s life. I thank You that You are equipping him to be used by You. I ask that You settle all his fears, help him to discern Your Voice, that still small quiet one, help him to know what is in alignment with Your Will. I rebuke any enemy attack on him or his family that is trying to make them not walk in Your purpose, in Jesus name. We praise You because You are good and are always working on our behalf by making our paths straight and helping us to trust fully in You. Yes!! I was reborn again fall of 2017. When I tell people they ask “oh so where/how did that happen at your Church?” I tell them “No!! by the Holy Spirit in my bedroom!!!!” I was 41 yrs old. It’s amazing because I use to think I was saved but wow when the Holy Spirit came upon me I had an awaking to the truth. I will say I have all the markers you describe except for tongues and the Holy Spirit continues to work on me on all areas!

Guilt comes from the enemy and so does distraction learn to shake it off bind & rebuke it in Jesus name. The enemy is always working he knows you well he uses the same distraction so you can stray away from Gods precious plan. But God is always with you waiting. It’s okay we all go through it God forgives you and doesn’t want you to carry the guilt. 🤍

I remember the time I am doubting if I am really saved. I am terrified whenever I hear preaching about rapture and tribulations. I am thinking that I will be left behind when the rapture comes. And one time, I had a dream staring at the dark night sky seeing many stars not in the falling position but they are in upward position like flying up the sky. Then I see myself in a flying position chin up in the sky with my fellow born again believers in their going up flying position too. Then I woke up. I realized that my dream is about rapture. I was so amazed that God confirmed by that dream that I am really saved. And I asked GOD, if I am really saved, why do I feel this doubt? Why I am so afraid? Then I heard a small voice and I am sure it’s the Holy Spirit saying that I have doubt on my salvation because i really don’t believe that the blood of Jesus is more than enough for me to be raptured. Praise GOD that I am now fully convinced that The Holy Spirit is truly living inside of me. I am truly saved!!!

Darius A Gross yeah it is good that the Holy Spirit speaks to us. As a believer, we may sometimes be weak spiritually that it’s hard for us to grasp the message of truth. And this is the great role of the Holy Spirit, to reveal to us personally the message of GOD the Father. We cannot work on our salvation rather we act & respond as the result of our Salvation.

Thank you for number 4. I had a very traumatic experience when I was younger where someone tried to force me to speak in tongues and told me that I wasn't saved unless I did. 🙃 It gave me a great disdain for a glorious gift for years, and made me feel like I wasn't filled with the Holy Spirit, despite the fruits of the Spirit and His gifts. I have only in recent years opened myself back up to not blaming the gift for the behavior of the gifted. I have several gifts but not tongues. However, I am open to the gift now. Personally, I'm healed. I've forgiven those who were not kind in being set on me speaking, and I am going to let God finish whatever work He has begun in me. However, I'm personally glad that God gave me other gifts before speaking in tongues. Because I would have been a tyrant, afraid that anyone who didn't wasn't baptized in the Holy Spirit. I would have forced them too---thank God for His wisdom.

The thing is, just do it. It's the hardest step to make, but once you do it, you realize just how powerful God's spirit is with you and just how amazing his work is in leading how things happen. Not everyone will receive, but the blessing that will come to you in planting seeds of faith, will blow you away.

HOWEVER, the reason I was inclined to go there, was a tee shirt that hung in the store window. Simply said, "PRAY!" in very large black letters. I'm so grateful with this teaching I was so stressed I was even planning of quitting praying cause I thought the holy spirit wasn't with me. I started listening to your teaching today. What happened was that when I woke my friends in my room were manifesting what they had experienced the previous night with the holy spirit. I felt so left out like God has already given up on me cause I'm a sinner. I have been asking for forgiveness but kept on repeating the same sin of being lustful, watching porn videos and many things that lead to being lustful. I have received the Holy Spirit recently. I cannot begin to articulate how incredible I feel. I cannot believe I did not seek the Lord of Lord’s and the King of King’s sooner. The amount of miracles that I have been able to manifest in front of family and friends through the Father and by Jesus’s love and gift, have been mind blowing. I have never felt true happiness other then when I fell in love. But this love is beyond words. I am changed forever. I tearing up writing this now. But when he reached me I was on my knees crying for him to forgive me. Continue to walk with Jesus unto death, because let me tell you, walking with him and obeying God’s commandments will not disappoint. Life is hard, but God makes it so we know were not alone. I just received the gift of tongues today during our worship 😭 can't explain it. I am just so happy!
Edit: This was a year ago. And I just remember we were preparing to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. So we have Sunday worship together with the Youth and sessions right after. I don't know exactly how it happened, all I remember was, we were singing Broken Vessels..my eyes closed then I asked God for His presence. I started crying but not because I am sad but full of gratefulness and joy as I feel His presence. While crying, I can feel the tingling sensation with my whole body, hands shaking, and I just prayed in tongues. I remember I am about to say "Thank you, Lord" but came out like the Holy Spirit is thanking God for me.
After our Baptism in the Holy Spirit, I am blessed to have other gifts too. Prophecy and vision too. ❤

I wish David would talk about that. When he was done talking I didn't even get to the prayer part because I thought I was doing good, getting better at cleaning out the sin, being baptized 7 months ago but didn't meet his criteria. I had to cry and am crying typing this. This was one of the most depressing things I've ever heard him say in his videos. I don't meet his check list.

@@rickspalding3047 Hello! To be Saved you have to do 2 things and it's completely free: (I use this rhyme) Turn from sins, and trust in Him. We have to repent from our sins and ask for forgiveness, and just have faith in Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection. We don’t get saved by works because nobody is “good enough” to get to Heaven, but doing these 2 things will help us and guide us in our lives. Our beliefs govern our actions so serving Jesus is just following the 2 greatest commandments. {Matthew 22:37-40} “Jesus replied: “37‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” The 1st commandment is to love God above all else with everything else. You do this by growing your faith which is getting invested into your Bible, praying, and spending time in God’s presence. Loving is also listening, so when the Holy Spirit speaks you listen and obey. Loving others is done by asking God for the Holy Spirit who will bear His Fruit in your life {Galatians 5:22-23} “ But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The law is not against such things” to equip you to love others. Another act of showing love to others is spreading the Gospel, which is the good news of Jesus. So, because we love God and want to follow His commandments {Mark 16:15} “Then he said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” and because we want to share how Jesus saves us from death and hell we love others. As a summation here's how we serve God: We serve God by being saved which only takes 2 things having faith by His grace and saying no to sin’s face (repenting), and we grow our faith in God by praying, reading the Living Word of God, seeking His face, and obeying Him, we also grow our love for others by asking the Holy Spirit to bear His Fruit in our lives and spreading the Good News with others. @@rickspalding3047 Man! That describes how I feel too, don't worry. I dealt with compulsive thoughts thinking that if I didn't xyz that I was being disobedient to God. This might sound cliche but the best advice I can give is trust God. Trust that He sees your heart and your eagerness to follow Him, and that He can and will use you in Jesus name. Whenever you get a strange thought and you don't know if it's God or not, ask Him for confirmation. For example, Gideon {in Judges 6-7} literally saw an angel of the Lord face to face, heard the angel’s voice, and heard God’s voice but he still asked for a confirmation and God gave it to him (4 different times even at the last moment!). God will continue to pursue you if you are willing, and not just give up if you didn't hear Him the first time. Samuel {in 1 Samuel 3} thought it was Eli the first 2 times God was calling him. God still was revealing Himself to Samuel and didn't give up. When you surrender to the Holy Spirit you trust that He will equip you for the tasks that He has planned for you, that He will lead you and guide you, that He will not give up on you. When God wants to make a point to you, He will get His point across. Once you say “Holy Spirit I surrender my life, it's Yours. I want Your will on Earth as it is in Heaven, have Your way in my life” and you are actively striving for a friendship and relationship with Him, He can and will use you. {Jeremiah 29:11} “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. “ {Proverbs 3:5-6} “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. He isn't going to be mad at you if you aren't sure if it's Him or not, ask Him to help you recognize His voice {John 10:3-4} “The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice” We have the Living, Active, Word of God (Bible) so to know God’s nature we have to get in His Word. I’ve always had the question but what if it's vague (Ex- “Go eat that apple over there”) then we ask God for clarity, for confirmation, and a clear conscious (aka a peace that surpasses all understanding {Phillipians 4:7} just wanted to keep the alliteration 😅) We have to wait on God and His promises that He won't leave nor forsake us {Deuteronomy 21:6} that He has a plan for us{Jeremiah 29:11}, that we lean on His understanding not ours{Proverbs 3:5}, He will renew our strength while we wait {Isaiah 40:31} and all these other things. It's way easier said than done (i know for sure) but it is so worth it when you follow God’s plan for your life, just trust Him and take it one day at a time {Matthew 6:33-34} “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” Prayer: Dear Lord, I thank You for Rick’s life. I thank You that You are equipping him to be used by You. I ask that You settle all his fears, help him to discern Your Voice, that still small quiet one, help him to know what is in alignment with Your Will. I rebuke any enemy attack on him or his family that is trying to make them not walk in Your purpose, in Jesus name. We praise You because You are good and are always working on our behalf by making our paths straight and helping us to trust fully in You. Yes!! I was reborn again fall of 2017. When I tell people they ask “oh so where/how did that happen at your Church?” I tell them “No!! by the Holy Spirit in my bedroom!!!!” I was 41 yrs old. It’s amazing because I use to think I was saved but wow when the Holy Spirit came upon me I had an awaking to the truth. I will say I have all the markers you describe except for tongues and the Holy Spirit continues to work on me on all areas!

I remember the time I am doubting if I am really saved. I am terrified whenever I hear preaching about rapture and tribulations. I am thinking that I will be left behind when the rapture comes. And one time, I had a dream staring at the dark night sky seeing many stars not in the falling position but they are in upward position like flying up the sky. Then I see myself in a flying position chin up in the sky with my fellow born again believers in their going up flying position too. Then I woke up. I realized that my dream is about rapture. I was so amazed that God confirmed by that dream that I am really saved. And I asked GOD, if I am really saved, why do I feel this doubt? Why I am so afraid? Then I heard a small voice and I am sure it’s the Holy Spirit saying that I have doubt on my salvation because i really don’t believe that the blood of Jesus is more than enough for me to be raptured. Praise GOD that I am now fully convinced that The Holy Spirit is truly living inside of me. I am truly saved!!!

Darius A Gross yeah it is good that the Holy Spirit speaks to us. As a believer, we may sometimes be weak spiritually that it’s hard for us to grasp the message of truth. And this is the great role of the Holy Spirit, to reveal to us personally the message of GOD the Father. We cannot work on our salvation rather we act & respond as the result of our Salvation.

Thank you for number 4. I had a very traumatic experience when I was younger where someone tried to force me to speak in tongues and told me that I wasn't saved unless I did. 🙃 It gave me a great disdain for a glorious gift for years, and made me feel like I wasn't filled with the Holy Spirit, despite the fruits of the Spirit and His gifts.
I have only in recent years opened myself back up to not blaming the gift for the behavior of the gifted. I have several gifts but not tongues. However, I am open to the gift now. Personally, I'm healed. I've forgiven those who were not kind in being set on me speaking, and I am going to let God finish whatever work He has begun in me. However, I'm personally glad that God gave me other gifts before speaking in tongues. Because I would have been a tyrant, afraid that anyone who didn't wasn't baptized in the Holy Spirit. I would have forced them too---thank God for His wisdom.

If you haven't spoken in tounges then you do not have the Holy Ghost. In Acts chapter 8 the Samarians believed on Jesus and were baptized in Jesus name but it states: (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) Acts 8v12-16. They believed and were baptized but they did not yet have the Holy Ghost.
In Acts 19,1-7 Paul met desciple's who believed in Jesus but they hadn't yet received the Holy Ghost. Paul then baptized them and laid his hands on them and they received the Holy Ghost and spoke in tounges.

Also Acts chapter 8 the Samarians believed and were baptized but they had not yet received the Holy Ghost.

I've received the gift of knowing if I'm about to sin,and I believe that's the holy spirit talking to me ,telling me and guiding me through every decision, and whenever I pray and worship it's like this beautiful cold energy goes through me that makes my hair stand up and i believe that's the holy spirit telling me I'm saved, I will always continue to have that connection and make it stronger and get even closer to god ,I shout hallelujah and I pray for all my sins to be cleansed ❤🙏and I pray more and more people receive this amazing gift from our powerful god..GOD IS GREAT ❤

The thing is, just do it. It's the hardest step to make, but once you do it, you realize just how powerful God's spirit is with you and just how amazing his work is in leading how things happen. @@jesuschristislord1845 I went through a season when I first started following each little inclination and utterance that the whisper inside me revealed, even something as small as hearing a radio advert for a Christian book store (knowing they had music cds there) and turning my car around to the oppo direction only to see my 45 minute drive end with a store that was closed for the day. HOWEVER, the reason I was inclined to go there, was a tee shirt that hung in the store window. Simply said, "PRAY!" in very large black letters. I had to chuckle with God for that one, but it did set off a series of prayer related incidences that change very much how I prayed to Him.
I know 100/00 I have the Holy Spirit and sometimes I feel him in my heart so strong

I'm so grateful with this teaching I was so stressed I was even planning of quitting praying cause I thought the holy spirit wasn't with me. I started listening to your teaching today. What happened was that when I woke my friends in my room were manifesting what they had experienced the previous night with the holy spirit. I felt so left out like God has already given up on me cause I'm a sinner. I have been asking for forgiveness but kept on repeating the same sin of being lustful, watching porn videos and many things that lead to being lustful. So I thought maybe he's tired of forgiving me to the extent of depriving me the holy spirit, but now I know from the first video I watched of the test that God gives us before blessing us I have knowledge now that I must serve a purposeful life to show how much capable I am in serving him.
