Thank you for this video! I opened up my nine year old hose and it was completely black. Just using a tissue I was able to clean off all the gunk. The two little tabs were quite brittle due to age and I had quite the time getting them out being super careful not to break them.
Lift up this fastener from the upper side of handle bar delicately, not more than 1 milimiter!, and hold it with small screwdriver or needle. Then push this fastener from down side to up (do not lift! just push paralelly to the handlebar surface). This should slide out like dog teeth out of piece of meat :)

Does anyone happen to have a wiring schematic for this? I'm trying to determine which wire does what - ground wire, vs power, vs switch etc.
