  • This has become my favorite way to play Auld Lang Syne on a diatonic harmonica (Blues Harp).
The 12th position offers great expressive potential in both the lower and middle register thanks to the bends being in the perfect place.
Another cool way to play the song is 2nd position, although there, the lower octave works much better than the middle.

I was hesitating about buying a harmonica, but the sound is too beautiful. I want to start playing this instrument.

Hi Agent Smash, I bought it for 3€ from karaoke-version.com. You can customize the track and select the key.

I want to get into the harmonic found a good deal on a blues harp C-note locally and am wondering, if it´s a good pick to start? Already checked out the sound of it and love it (sound of a stand alone instrument), don´t know if I should rather spend a few € more for a 40 holes one which is also available, unfortunatly no further infos on that one accept hole count and just one bad picture. What should I pick as a beginner who wnats to learn it? I think a 10 hole blues harp makes sense for a beginner.

A 10-hole diatonic (Blues Harp) is a great choice. It's easy to start with simple songs and at the same time there's so many interesting techniques to learn that will make your instrument more versatile.
