GOA TO HYDERABAD BUS JOURNEY by KADAMBA VOLVO AC SEATER BUS | DANGEROUS CHORLA GHAT | 650 KMS

Watch my first Kadamba bus vlog from Goa to Hyderabad. This is part of the new routes that I would be trying. I have travelled by Kadamba Volvo before but dint make any vlog on the same. There are quite a few private bus operators on this route. However, due to the Dussehra festival, most of them had hiked their prices. Hence, Kadamba was one of the best and most economical options to travel by. The bus fare was Rs. 1000. This Kadamba bus is B7R Volvo AC Seater bus, a bit old bus. This bus starts from Panjim Bus Stand everyday at 5:30 pm and is scheduled to reach MGBS, Hyderabad by 8 am. This bus also goes to Mapusa bus stand and then heads towards Thivim. You can book tickets online @ goakadamba.com/ or from Redbus & other online booking applications. The bus route is Goa - Belagavi - Gulbarga - Hyderabad. The total distance is approximately 650 kms. It can anywhere between 15 - 17 hours to reach Hyderabad. The bus goes via the dangerous Chorla Ghat. The road is very narrow and even a single truck accident can halt the entire road. There was dense fog and many potholes on the road as well. Moreover, after completing the Chorla Ghat the road had many speed breakers due to which could not maintain a constant speed. Sometimes, the speed-breakers were not even visible and had no white strips on them which made it difficult to spot and drive.
Our bus came to Panjim Platform no. 2 at exactly 5:30 pm. The bus was mostly doing good throughout the journey. However, as the road isn't the best we could not maintain a good speed. We reached Hyderabad MGBS by 11:15 am which was more than 3 hours late. However, most of the buses on this route are late. Also, driving through Hyderabad traffic caused a delay of 1 hour. All buses are checked by the police as soon as you enter KA border for carrying liquor. So kindly be mindful of it. Our bus was stopped twice when we were in Telangana as well.
