I haven't lost my dad but I lost a great man in my life who was like another father to me and watching this made me feel everything marshall said it's tough having to let go of someone who had been in your life since the day you were born taken so young and without knowing it was his last day here. Knowing he'll never get to see the person I will become knowing he'll never get to see my future kids grow. But I'll always love him for the light he gave me and my family and for the childhood he gave me and my brother's, even when my parents struggled so much to do that, always will remember the best moments with him

Love Lily's acting, Neil and Jason are great too. I cried the moment Lily got out of the taxi. It must be hard to tell someone you love the last thing they want to hear. This is heartbreaking, yet part of life that most of us would have to go through.

My dad died of a sudden ruptured aneurysm on. 10 December 2015
Quick death, little pain, no warnings. One minute he’s fine getting ready for an average boring day, next minute he’s gone.
I’ll never see him age, decay, never remember him as anything other that a young fit cool guy.
As I watch my grandfather decay through dementia I’m greatful that my father will never suffer such a fate. Like JFK, marlin monroe, James dean and heath ledger, he went in his prime. That’s how I’ll always remember him.
No drawn out hospital visits, because he didn’t know about it so he wasn’t afraid of it.
He was 46, in his prime, 4 months from seeing his daughter’s wedding, 3 years from his first grandson, 5 years from his first granddaughter. 7 years from his step daughter’s wedding.
And worst of all, he was 4 years late for The Irishman, if he did show up in 2019 to see it Al Pacino would look at the camera through the screen and say “you’re late!”

The idea that he didn't have any good last words shows that he kept living even though anything could happen. Sounds better than having a final hurrah because you don't know or care to know if it's the last day.
