Tsitsipas has one of the most simple forehand swings of any pro. I always point to him when people believe they need to do all crazy stuff to generate power. Stay loose (particular keep the arm loose), transition your weight, hit the ball in front of your body. Follow the base principles is all you need.
@@GreySox Berretini actually has the semi-western version of Tistsipas’ forehand. They both close the racquet but initiate the foreword motion by dramatically opening the face until contact whereas other straight elbows only allow it to fully open basically at the moment of contact like Fed and Nadal. Del Po on the other hand barely closes his racquet if at all.

I think this particular video is one of my favorite videos I've shot aesthetically this year just in terms of how it looks on video, which I was not expecting given that people were pulling and pushing on the fence making it difficult to get a clean shot. Still have to post my Rafa/Tsitsipas video that I mentioned to you, but got lots of videos to sift thru and edit/post. There are other vids from other people I've seen of that Rafa/Stefanos practice session that you can watch in the meantime.
Don’t really care for Tsitsipas on a personal level, since he comports himself in a questionable manner, however on a professional level he’s got quite the game. One of my favorites along with Alcaraz. Great talents. Thanks for the upload. Great quality
well, you make it sound like he's known for having questionable manners, but that's just not true... Somebody who's badly informed might have heard a few controvertial things about like the toilet pauses and the problem he had with Medvedev (which is old news), things like that. But if you follow tennis properly, you'll know that he's had a really serious and proper behaviour for a while now. Never did crazy things and always been genuine in interviews.
@@ken2181 I was actually just going to watch a replay of his match, as I didn’t know the result. Stef’s first round defeat was no big surprise after his loss in Cincinnati. He needs a shrink I suspect.
@@brenhugh lol yepp. Poor guy. Goes to really show how extremely difficult tennis is. I mean look at Thiem for example. Few yrs ago, he was top 5. Gets injured, and now he cant even win a match. Tennis is super competitive.
He can't build muscle on his legs, it's about his style of play. He needs big shoulders, arms, but he can't adds more weight on legs, this would damage his style of play definitely on speed and movements.
@@Prince-kt7um Actually, it goes the opposite way when dealing with speed and movements. Matteo is poor at moving around the court. Look at Fed and Nadal. They have stronger lower body muscles. They're fast and more consistent.
