Good option for sureâŠ.agree with plugging/covering those side holes.
Not sure why they went that route. Easy fix but definitely not a good place to put the holes.
Thanks for the idea always a pain pulling a heavy one through the woods. Keep up the good work sir and have a blessed Christmas
Merry Christmas to you as well. Give it a try do the mods save your back. lol
The stirring was my favorite part
I use a Jet Sled for beaver trapping in the Spring. I can haul out 3 beaver and my gear overland. I've used a 5 foot plastic tobaggon for hauling out deer with and without snow on the ground That plastic is pretty slick.
This is a really good hunting item that I think gets looked over. Thanks for the comment and view.
I use a Jet Sled Jr Camo
I put 4 skids under it . Put large Eye Bolts in front with larger fender washers and use a Shoulder pullling harness attached 2 four feet lyfting straps attached canoes Eye bolts by Snap links. I also placed 4 smaller eye bolts in each corners to lash down loads.
I use this setup for moose quarters getting back to canoe. One quarter per trip. The Jr fits real good in my canoe .
Thanks for the info. Good sled ideas.

Better double-nut or something to keep those anchor nuts from coming off. The rope with rings was very clever.
One could also put a pipe (PVC or metal conduit?) about 18" long on the rope as a pull point, if not pulling from the body.
Great ideas. The nut and bolts have a split washer to keep them secure. The jet sled has come in handy.
Got a 5 ft long snow sled, which has holes already that I use nylon rope thread thru with enough rope coming out to make loop handles that you can also hook on a trailer hitch on your ATV Total cost including rope $35.00. Been using my sleds to pull dozens of deer and gear... Doin it Cheap..
I have used it several times with my SXS hauling wood in the snow. Worked great. Thanks for the info and view.
I need to upgrade my sled now. I've gotten by with a cheap Amazon sled but it won't last much longer.
Definitely check this out. Solid rig with the mods.
What size rope are you using and how long is it installed?
Not sure on the length I just eye balled it. I looped it through the holes and made sure I had plenty to work with. Not sure on the rope either it was in the hunting supplies at Walmart. Sorry I couldnât be of help.
How have been things going with the jet sled, would you do anything different? Just bought one, thanks.
Been going great no issues. Just used it this last deer season to haul a deer out of the woods and is sure does beat dragging or carrying. I also have used it hauling wood and hunting equipment. Thanks for the view and comment.
thanks for the prompt reply, appreciated

They actually make five sizes and the big one will take up your entire bed of a full size pickup without wheel wells
Iâll have to check the big one. Thanks for the info and comment.
Are you 2 going to do "the duel" challenge?
Weâll see.
What size drill bit did your use?
I can not remember sorry. I believe I matched to the thickness of the rope.
Thanks for the reply and very detailed and informative video. I have everything needed except the rings. All I find are ornamental rings. Iâll keep looking and possibly look at some local places here in my home town in Louisiana. I suppose these need to be sort of industrial or load bearing to work correctly.
Smart very smart.
Very not smart .
JET SLED NEEDS WHEELS EVEN CAVEMEN KNEW THAT!!
It wouldnât be a bad addition but it gets around pretty good.
YOUR YOUNG AND STRONG THEN.@@HawkMeyerOutdoors
I think thatâs the jet sled ll.
Second one from the smallest.
I am going to have to quit watching your videos, every time I do it cost me money. đ I have just ordered a jet sled.
Good deal! Always happy to make anyoneâs hunt easier. Unfortunately as hunters the wallet will always get hurt. HAHA
