By far one of the best explanations of this duality I’ve ever heard. As someone that struggles to move forward everyday, in drawing closer to Jesus, this has immeasurable value.

So so so powerful. Thank you, Doug. And the world is screaming at us From either side of that pendulum to join sides. Meanwhile, let us hear Jesus’ voice instead saying “Follow ME” ❤❤❤

I'm not sure why after how many times it is happened, but I'm always still so surprised at how much a sermon speaks to me. This one was no exception. I was raised in a somewhat legalist household as far as religion goes. My entire life I have felt that if things were not good in my life I was being punished for something I did wrong. I'm dealing with that now as I was laid off for the 3rd times in 3 years recently and have been treated really poorly by 3 out of my last bosses. I'm angry about it and keep questioning what I've done wrong. What is wrong with me? I needed to hear this today, thank you, and please pray for me and the anger I feel on a regular basis for how cold this world can be.

Pastor Doug, the timing of this message is perfect. I shared 'my inventory' the day before w my Celebrate Recovery leader which includes all the ways I have sinned and hurt others in the past. I needed to be reminded I was fully loved at a time I felt fully exposed..thank you! 💜

Loved it. Jesus took the punishment for the woman caught in the act of adultery.
