I have tried using your system(looks great by the way), however, even when using nodeJS v0.10.x I still have dependency issues, mostly with Sqlite3, even older versions of it are targeting "node-warf", which is impossible to get running on windows. sure you can. didn't you see him entered a number at 03:58 ? it's bar-code of a product. So the scanner's job is just reading a bar-code and entering it as a string just like a keyboard could do.

Due to popular demand, I have fixed the issue with the dependency. You must have node v0.10.x in order to run this project since sqlite3 won't work with others.
