It is faster than rtr 200 in 0-60 and 0-100 and that's what all we need and top speed is not something that we need all the time to bother about my top speed on hornet 2.0 is 130kmph and it's awsome

Compared to the previous Hornets, this is a major upgrade and very good one too. Retaining the best parts of the previous models and adding/upgrading the shortfalls. But when one compares it with what the competition offers, one is left wondering if choosing the 2.0 would be prudent. Apache RTR 200 4v BS6 for instance offers a hell lot more features and a more powerful engine at slightly lesser price than the 2.0. Wish both the bikes offered a 6th gear. The only place where 2.0 offers something more are the Ohlins USD forks and the street presence with the massive tank and rear tire. Even the earlier Hornets look like bikes of a higher capacity. Wish Honda could bring just the feature set of RTR 4v and it would be tough to choose, but at this point the RTR 200 4v is no-brainer.
I still love my cb160R though. :)

Superb review bro👌👌 The only thing want to ask is about the heating issue in this bike. Because of higher cc segment & with the Air cooled engine. long rides with consistent speed above 70-80 or in long duration city traffic, will this bike face the heating issue..??

Sir had test drive. Bike is good.Only negative thing is suspension is a bit hard and seat cushioning is hard particularly pillion seat. It is not very comfortable .Whether suspension can be adjusted towards softer side for comfort and Likewise whether seat can be given extra cushioning or fabricated so that it will be comfortable for both rider and pillion rider?. If this is sorted out I will take a decision in buying this bike.

Hoping you will do an extensive comparo between this and the RTR 200, I have a three queries meanwhile, which you can hopefully clear now, since the showroom near me said they wont be getting a test ride unit for the Hornet. Features and extra power are secondary for me, but the below listed two items are primary.
1. Is it as Revv happy and revvs freely and smoothly like the BS6 RTR 200?(I felt RTR has one of the most smoothest engines till date that I have ridden, ozhukunna oru feeling ennu parayam).
2. Is it as much fun with lots of feedback when cornering like RTR? Ennu vechal, aa oru corneringil lean chyyumbo, bikeil ninnu kittunna confidence, feedback, satisfaction, comparatively ethila kooduthal RTR or Hornet?
3. Headlight randum same throw and intensity ayrkumo?. RTR was very good when it came.
PS: Njanum Kollathinu aanu, veedu Kadavoor, but ippo working in Chennai... Love to see your videos, karanam, ekathesham main Kollam areas ellam cover cheyyumallo and awesome quality and content 👍🤘

Hornet has this sweet spot engine tuning which gives us better feel while riding casually and also while doing that extra throttling.
Headlight range is slightly better in the RTR bro. Cornering is slightly better with the Hornet bro.
And about control the Hornet does shine better.

Hornet 2.0 On road price is 1.52 Lakhs@ Hyderabad .Hornet has been very smartly over priced with USD forks and body graphics ..No Oil cooler, No dual channel ABS and No Slipper clutch @ just 1.52 Lakhs 🤩🤩.

For a comfortable 60kms commute every day which is better Hornet 2.0 or MT 15 please recommend. MT 15 is light and gives better milage...I am confused..

Mt is good but if a person who rides without a pillion or a wants to use it for traveling with family members especially with your mom ,sis or wife I thing honda will provide more comfort and it costs you less.
Its design and reliability of honda is a added advantage.
For solo riding go for mt15 its ride quality is excellent u wont regret

May be this is a practical sporty commuter, which is more usable for day to night and long rides. But this doesn't mean that replacement for CBR 250R.
BS6 CBR 250R could be a worthy match for both 200cc segment and 400cc segment

Did you see any 184 Cc bike without a Paper type engine Oil filter ??Honda Hornet 2.0 is the only answer in this segment.
Instead of a Paper type engine oil filter, Honda has persistently gone with it's old centrifugal engine oil filter inside the clutch cover of Hornet 2.0..
Lack of Paper type engine oil filter is the drawback of Hornet. Centrifugal engine oil filters are the root cause for Engine oil condensation and reduced engine oil life. Once the oil condensation happens, engine Oil starts to burn which finally leads to Piston rings and compression failure .

I purchased this new bike 2 days back and I got this upgrade from my Hero Hunk-2011 in which I have rode 100s of KM's in a day and never had back ache issues..
But honestly Hornet 2.0 suspension is really hard, I got back ache in just 2 days of riding.
Pls suggest me a solution for this...
If u would’ve turn on hazards switch for indicators 1:20 during this dark it would be amazing...
That would look sleek.
Rider has sense that that thing is for emergency purpose and not for a showoff.
