@@dev1951 indeed they are beautiful but most tourists come here for small time and they try to see as much diversity as possible. So they go to Himachal and Ladakh and then they go south. Also sadly rn the connectivity with northeast needs a lot of development maybe afterwards there will be increase in tourism.

Best in terms of Culture - its subjective, pretty much everywhere in India you will see rich cultural heritage, for me West Bengal and Southern States are more culturally evolved.
Best in terms of Nature - Himalayan regions (Ladakh, Himanchal, Uttarakhand etc), North-east India, Kerala and adjacent states.
Food - Food is good across India, for vegetarians North is more suited and for Non-veg pretty much every state is good except the hindi-belt, I personally love south India in terms of food.
You know that Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Tandoori Chicken are all from hindi belt region's? And outisde India these are the most popular Non-Vegetarian Indian food and it all comes from North😅. Outside rather south is more popular for their Vegetarian food instead like Dosas, vada and Idli which i absolutely love. Well at the end it depends on their palette. If they like mild to little species then North is the place but if you wanna go all in ig South is better as they eat more spices in general.
@@vinamrajha the thing about the Hindi belt is that its the most underdeveloped, bigoted and lawless region of India, basic amenities like electricity, hospitals and proper roads a luxury there, not to mention the overcrowded Streets and public transport. Eating non-veg also can probably get you lynched in broad daylight in the Hindi belt.
Note: what I've said are facts, i myself am from the North and have lived across India thanks to the army.
@@pikachu5647 not all Hindi belt region is underdeveloped neither all south is developed but yeah in general south is a little more developed but the difference aint that huge as they care about pollution, and humanity more than us in general. Most developed cities are also in hindi belt region like Gurgaon, Chandigarh, Noida, New Delhi, Pune, Mumbai and here we also have poorest in some regions of UP and Bihar. I live around hell lotta south Indians they are most humble people you'll ever meet.

@@vinamrajha the "developed" cities in the Hindi belt are literally because of it being the capital and corruption, both governmental and private. These cities are unliveable unless you have buttloads of money because even the air toxic. Kerala is probably amongst the most loveable state in India, it's not just development that makes a society loveable, clean water, air, proper electricity, decent law and and order, medical facilities, roads etc are some of the major contributors in making a society livable. Most cities in North India fail in all those aspects, even the "development" that have is built upon exploitation of both its residents and the labourers.

A beautiful place just beside the Indo Nepal Border, only division between them is the river. And you can also visit Rohtas if you want to see absolutely beautiful waterfalls..
And you ofcourse can visit any part with n number of famous temples and other religous places there, some are very unique, the culture and the rural Bihar is also a thing to watch if you haven't ever experienced it.

Although it's been taught us that Kabbadi/Hockey is the national sport of india, the thing is that there is not any national sport of india as stated by the supreme court earlier. You can't consider a popular sport as National Spot. There must be some other parameters to become a National sport.

We have 8 Olympic gold medal in Hockey but that all was long ago. So Hockey used to be considered as National Game. But now it’s more than 3 decades for our hockey performance to be any remarkable. In fact it has declined except recently. In last few years It has picked up. Decline of hockey started when artificial grass ground came into play, Indians were used to natural grounds. For new type of grounds, we need huge shift in infrastructure and that couldn’t happen on time.
Since hockey has declined, govt recently replied in a RTI request that we don’t have any national sport. We promote every sport and treat every sport equally.
Second, India doesn’t have any national language. We have 22 official languages. States choose their local language and English for official works. Government of India uses English and Hindi for official purposes. We can’t declare English as national language though almost every state uses it for official purposes beside another Indian language. Hindi speakers are largest in India so talks about declaring it national language keep rising from time to time. But not all state speak and understand Hindi so this also can’t be declared as National Language.
Well, a National language won’t serve any other purpose except from title. We don’t really need that. Declaration of Official languages is sufficient to complete all official work as well as to give due respect to our different native languages.

Actually,India has neither national language nor national game , according to our constitution there are two official language Hindi, English. Official word matter because in 1965 there is controversy between north and south that's why India has not national language,

In 1950's or 1960's govt announced that Hindi is national language but the South Indian people rejected and started protesting against govt and asked for seperate country for south india.so, govt unable to control the protest that time govt announced Hindi is not a national language.
Central Govt not facilitate south part in terms of budget like bihar, Gujarat, up and other states but Still all 5 states of south india are in top 10 gdp producing country with highest rate of literary.
