- In this video, I review the 2022 Toyota Highlander XSE model and show why I think it’s the best highlander model to choose from!
I have driven all model highlander’s from the entry level LE model to the fully loaded platinum model.
The sporty feel, drive and look set this XSE highlander far apart from the rest.

I'm SO glad I bought the V6 XSE in all black. I got used to the red trim quickly. The Toyota forum is buzzing with SO many issues with the newer 4 cylinder turbo (crap). Yes, it has a little more torque but 0-60 in 8 sec??? It's awful what Toyota did as much as I know why so many industries are moving to this direction before switching full on electric. It's sad that it'll be my last V6 Highlander as I've owned several. And it does corner so well; even more so than my old 2013 WRX without any suspension upgrades. I was shocked. But also, XSE is definitely not for people that want a comfortable 'plush' ride either. It's a bit stiffer like the sporty Acura and it's no way in the luxury field as the suspension is sports tuned as Toyota specifies.
I honestly really love the Toyota Highlander XSE it Really Does Feel like a Sports car, the Exterior looks unique, Interior seems pretty Great with the Carbon Fibre on the Front, overall I really Like this Car and I woudnt wanna get a RAV 4 Over this Even though it's a Toyota I just love the Highlander and I hope I can be able to own my own Toyota Highlander cause as an Owner it makes me Feel unique and that I dont need to buy an Overpriced SUV just to make me feel Unique!
I really wish I could get the 2nd row bench in this XSE model. I would have the 3rd row
Folded down but with the 2nd row bench I would never have to use the 3rd row with passengers in the car
I just bought a 2022 XLE white. Wished I had held out for the XSE. Love the sport details and red interior though I do love my XLE.

In March of this year my Lease expired but before I went to the Dealer for a 2022 XSE unit. And I wanted it white and red interiors. And the toll me the price also i choose some accesories.. But guess what I ended up extending the Lease for 6 months and no unit never ever arrived. I'm talking about Lancaster PA...

Just getting mine but not sure why is it me but that red inside is to bright . Is my opinion i went with regular black other than that a beautiful suv.

is an XSE Hybrid coming? I dont like grill on the non-XSE models... absolutely terrible. my fav grill was 2017-2019 model years. new XSE grill is ok, but better than non-xse models.

It will sacrifice longevity and reliability. 4cyl turbo engines don’t last as long especially in larger vehicles with larger loads. They are just hoping on the wagon like everyone else. Hybrids and battery cars are a complete joke they don’t save the environment. If anything they cause even more harm. I won’t buy one of these trucks or SUV’s with 4cyl twin turbo engines. Just like I will dismantle the auto stop feature that cuts the engine at stop lights. That just puts strain on your charging system and battery.
