Watch me put wreaths on the graves of several children of Gold Star parents I know whose sons and daughter were killed in Afghanistan, including three of the "Kabul 13" who were killed by an ISIS terrorist at the airport in Aug. 2021 in the disastrous withdrawal all the volunteers lay wreaths on graves in the hollowed ground of Section 60 at Arlington National Cemetary as part of Wreaths Across America for Christmas.

How awesome are you for sharing this special remembrance with us. My dad served in WWII in Okinawa, my uncle served in the Philippines and my 2nd cousin served in France(WWII), Korea and did 3 tours in Nam. My brother was in Germany 72-75 in the army. Respect for those that gave their lives for every American should never ever be forgotten. Tears are streaming from my eyes. Thank you for sharing.

Some in my family served as well, but not in Okinawa, Philippines, France, and Germany.

@@jctruth1 -thank you so much. I wasn’t looking for replies, but was surprised to hear this story of tradition. I have a box of letters that my uncle wrote home to my grandmother while he was in the Philippines. I hope they contain something that I can share with others. All my family members made it home untouched physically but I’ll never know about psychologically. I grew up with friends who came back from Vietnam who had issues and are no longer with us. Drugs, alcohol and Agent Orange did them in.
Clarence Thomas is a national treasure. He needs to be protected at all costs.

@@Emily.Miller But since it is now publicly known that Clarence Thomas goes to Arlington every year to do a humble service, is it still save for him to go there, since I believe there are many psychopaths around who want to see this great man dead. Was he accompanied by his security guards? I seriously care for his safety.

Thank you for watching and caring for our fallen. I cry sometimes just looking at the birth dates on the graves. It’s also hard to hear the pain from Gold Star families because it’s such an enormous pain and grief. We owe them to show up and do our part to honor them.
