- Still on the quest to converse with some of South Africa's freshes young talents who are definitely pushing the boundaries and are making the name for themselves, Scoop Makhathini extends the flowers, or rather "the cognac" to these excelling young people on behalf of the 2020 Hennessy Very Special Limited Edition series. First joined by artist, Faith XLVII, as well as Bob The Stylist on part one of the edition - Scoop now ventures into part two with breakout photographer, Young Stilo, and Deniece Marz, who is a DJ.
Capturing the magic behind the man behind the lens, Scoop Makhathini sets out to discover the journey that Young Stilo took to arrive at the position he sits at currently. Having been gifted his first camera by his uncle, Young Stilo never looked back. To a point where he was finally discovered by Stilo Magolide. The photographer shares his story on and more, including how he took the Meek Mill photo, on this episode of Catching Waves.
With closing for Skepta at the Redbull Music Festival being one of her most memorable experiences since the inception of her career as a DJ, Deniese Marz, is another young person to look out for. Coming with her laid back energy, she engages Scoop in conversation on the field that she plays in. From playing for her brother, to moving to major stages, Deniese Marz speaks on the how and why she got into DJing, as well as shares what her main goal is.
