Actually name dropped Jim Brown in thus video before I heard the news. Rest In Peace to a TRUE LEGEND 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Is it possible to get a Anthony Gonzales. Ohio state wr 🫡
Rip Jim brown little late too type it here but rip
I don't understand how you don't have a million subs yet, you are by far one of the best storytellers on CZcams.
Personally for me sometimes I just don't like his background music in the past videos it's just 🤢 now it's a lot better for me. Again this is just me.
100% agree
Exactly with accurate information!
He's a Cornball
My point exactly. People really be hating low-key. He really has great content 🤞🏿🤞🏿
i really appreciate u mentioning marion barber consistently on this channel. im a cowboys fan and . alongside jason witten and demarcus ware he was my favorite player as kid his tragic death was heartbreaking and i feel like hes often forgotten
He is madly underrated/forgotten easily, I'm from Texas and I forget how good he was.
It is amongst the highest honors in life that, once deceased, one lives on in the thoughts and aspirations of the people they connect with. Especially the young people, who have their ceiling raised everytime a person excels and breaks through to new levels. People like you give purpose and meaning to our society as a whole, not just sports/entertainment. Never lose that compassion.
as a gophers fan, i love it as well!
@@darthbahnsen3832in life you die twice, once you are no longer living, and the other when youre mentioned for the last time. Some people transcend that barrier but it is on us to keep their stories alive
At the time Jamal Lewis was the ravens offense that’s what made it so impressive
Priest Holmes is 1 of the Best RunningBacks to ever do it in the NFL! He was also very exciting to watch!
Mr. Flemlo, I just wanted to say thank you for your videos and the time you put into them. Been watching your vids since I was a freshman in high school now I’m 21. Been a true fan, and will continue to be. I appreciate you along with the community you built🤟🏾💯
Jamal Lewis was my favorite running back ever to play, his physicality was insane
This video didn’t feel like it was 40 minutes long. Outstanding work Flem!
Seeing LT was what got me into watching football and being a Chargers fan, despite being born and raised in DC. He was just that electric
As a kid LT made me love football as well
The Cardinals in 08 were the last team to have 3 1K WRs in a season .
Steve Breaston
Anquon Boldin
Larry Fitzgerald
Oh man Steve breaston
Completly forgot Breaston was a dude lol
@@jameswelch82 Eh. Outside of the 1K season he was average. Kurt Warner made him really.
Very good possession receiver for my Ravens
Haven’t heard that name in ages
Drew Bree was so underated. I believe he should have at least 2 MVPs.
As a falcons fan. Brees was a stat padder
@@cjdebnam3229 as a Falcon fan, Drew Brees has 1 more super bowl than anyone to ever play on your team.
Every year Drew should of won an MVP, there was always one person who was a little better and outshined him. Frustrated the hell out of me. He was one of the more consistent elite QBs of the era.
Same with FlemLo. I believe he should have 2 Million subs 😤
@@SnakeEaterGaming so you ain’t a falcons fan because you said your bot our team lol
Still salty Drew didn’t get it in the 2009-2010 season, granted he got the SB Mvp that year. I know I’m biased being a Saints fan lol
I have to actively remind myself that yes, Todd Gurley played in the 2010s and not the early 2000s. It feels like he played so long ago
Much respect for that Marion Barber shout out!! Hands down my favorite RB ever due to his physicality 💯
Rest in Paradises #24
Edit: I've been a Cowboys fan from the womb, so I've witnessed all the rbs since 82 and Marion still sticks out to me the most
Wasn't Drew Brees's first season in New Orleans their first season back in the Superdome? I don't remember him being there before the Superdome was fixed.
Yeah he wasn't on the 3-13 team when the superdome was being repaired. Flem got that one wrong. Brees came in when payton did
Drew came in when we reopened the dome, and he turned the whole team around, we went from 3-13 to 13-3 all the way to the nfc championship which, sadly, we lost, but what a season!! And no respect at all
He did come to New Orleans when the city was still demolished and damaged. I was a little confused on the wording in this video. He wasn’t a part of the 3-13 team, but he came in during the following off season and helped rebuild the city.
@@valeriefolse945210-6 and NFC 2nd seed
Those QB and WR rule changes was obviously what shifted the OPOY QB increase. Those rules were definitely necessary, but I don't like the decreased value the league has placed on RBs now.
Yup you can see the shift starting in 2004 with QB stats and award winners
As a Ravens fan, I wonder how many rings they would have if they only had a decent quarterback through the 00s. Jamal Lewis and the defense were the offense
...and Derek Mason occasionally, but, yeah!
Thank goodness for Flacco & now Lamar
Matt Ryan deserves so much more respect than he gets. I remember his 2008 season because I really took notice of him.
Nah
Eli get more praise than him 😭
Man what 😂
I feel like he gets the respect he deserves. He was a very good qb for a long time. I have never heard anyone say he a bad qb. I'm a giants fan and I think Eli gets more credit than he deserves because of his two superbowls. But Ryan gets appropriate respect
@Mjgamehub your right I'm a giants fan and believe me outside of his 2 superbowls Eli drove me crazy. He was mediocre but had a knack for the big game
Speaking to Brady, the idea of the graphic that showed around his 2010 OPOY, that shows how his career could be divided into 3 HOFers phases, is kind scary how true that is. Absolutely insane
Cooper Kupp had the greatest season ever by a WR, you have to include his great performance in the postseason as well as the regular season. He had 2,425 receiving yards total and 22 TDs. Nobody had more in a season when you include the postseason. The 2nd most receiving yards in a season including playoffs, was Larry Fitzgerald with 1,977 yards. So Kupp had almost 450 receiving yards better than the 2nd best receiving season. Crazy good season!
I've been watching you for a minute now and I must give you your flowers man, like honestly the way you present these videos for us is great.
Nice to see you showing highlights of Jamal Lewis against the Browns. As a Browns fan, I hated that guy. In 2003 in two games against the Browns, Lewis had: 500yds rushing and 4 TDs. Yes, he had 25% of his yardage for the season in two games against the Browns. He average more than 9yds a carry against that hapless Browns defense in 2003. Priest Holmes more than deserved the award.

Love yew, Flemlo - thx for all ur work n devotion. Shout out u, bro!
Jamal got about 500 of them yards on the Browns in their 2 games
Just finished watching the video, kudos to you Flemlo!! I have been watching your videos for a few years now, I've seen the progression and maturity come along, you are probably the best out there at what you do, I see your heart in every video and your life experiences sports related and beyond shine in every video also. Handing you your flowers 🌺🌺🌹🌹 now man!! Keep on keeping on, and like a famous owner once said just win baby win!!
Content King 💪🏽💪🏽 Salute Flemlo
Haven't even started it and I wanna say great video Flem. Its always good when you upload. Blessings bro
Legit video as always, gracias Flem! 👊
AWESOME video. Simply awesome.
You never disappoint with the content, already know this vid gonna be a banger
The early 2000s were nuts for running backs. We saw Shaun Alexander, Priest Holmes and LT break the single season touch down record all in a 5 year span.
With things are the way they are now with running backs. I think Tomlinsons record might take a while to be broken. Even with the 17 game season.
Thank you for the work dude ur videos are so well put together and information dense.
i was waiting for this video when you made the DPOY video love the videos keep it up FlemLo , hearing your voice in videos and they way you talk makes the videos 10x better with your commentary.
Dope break down I remember all these players and the seasons 💯
Back to back videos for flem 🐐
Flenmo by far has the best nfl football content on youtube. He brings so much research and facts to hia videos. He deserves way more subscribers.
Who?
The fact that Calvin never one a opty when he got 1,964 yards and AB with his 1800 yards one of those years was crayz
Love your stuff it’s all fact based and really well done.
LT most impressive stat was his rushing TDs. That dude had over 10 TDs per season until he was 31.
Another amazing job 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾🏉
FlemLo my guy, on behalf of all your loyal viewers, keep up the great work. We love your videos, excellent storytelling, and you just seem like a cool guy bro. Great video & keep the content coming big Dawg!
All the best,
Beau from Virginia
Great video as always
Amazing video 💯
40 minutes 😍 Ty for your hard work!
On the real
earliest i’ve been on a flemo vid ina while LFG
Marshall Faulk was the greatest all around RB of all time. He did it all - he was even a great blocker
Sports and positive humanity! Love you, Flemlo!
Good video bro! Faulk was always my favorite player growing up lol ppl forget about how good he really was.
Barry Sanders had the consecutive 100 yards rushing in a game record with 14. I think Murray has the record to start a season because Barry didn’t run for 100 yards to start that season. Great vid Flemlo
"Victor Cruz, that was a good one" 💙💙💙
once again great video, awesome stats and I always feel like im getting truth from your videos
All these guys ARE BEAST. 💪🏽🔥
Great video
Facts you not the only one. You bringing up Madden 07 was bringing a bell for me too, and how I remember him.
really don’t understand how these players were so offensive they seem pretty chill
Noti-Gang. Love these what happened to them videos.
Great idea for a clip!!!
Thank you for blessing us on this beautiful day that I was fortunate enough to wake up for
how you gon say jjettas 28 had me confused for a sec like no way he that old😂
Can't wait for the DPOY episode. LFG.
Good stuff👍
As a fellow football junky, I appreciate your content bro. 💯
This video was elite
My introduction to Shaun Alexander was Super Bowl XL when they played the Steelers. Dude was awesome in his prime!
Nice touch with the Marion Barber moment.
40 minute FlemLo vid 🙏
Let's get flemlo to 1 mil subs!!!!!!
In 2003, Jamal Lewis also broke the single game rushing yards record when he blew up for 295 yards against the Browns. And 8 straight 100 yard rushing games to START the season may be a record, but Barry Sanders rushed for 14 straight in his 1997 MVP season after going for less than 30 yards in each of his first two games of the season.
As a Cowboy fan I got real familiar with Shauwn Alexander I feel like we saw him and the Seahawks every year. Excellent content.
You deserve a bunch of credit for the homework you do this video was A1 🔥
He didn’t do his home woe too well.
Drew Brees has the record for completion percentage in a game, going 29 of 30.
Also, he did not play for the Saints the year they were forced out the Dome due to the Hurricane.
He came the year after, with Sean Payton, and they went 10-6 not 3-13.
The LT stats are why I went ballistic that him and Faulk weren’t even mentioned when the NFL did their NFL 100 list
Adrian Peterson 2012 season was the best season from a running back that i have ever watched the man was on another level he was the face of the league greatest rb of all time imo
Also comming off a major injury absolutely insane
Even though that is the case I enjoy your content I watch it all the time
Love the video! Quick thing - Mahomes didn’t make the Super Bowl in 2018, the Chiefs lost to Brady and the Pats in the AFC Title Game
Hey love the shout-out to the barbarian. I miss watching him run. Rip bro
Haven’t watched yet but I know this video’s a classic
“MVP rank: ‘Bro, what the hell you think?’” 😂 damn, caught me off guard but that was funny.
Such a top tier story teller
95 - 05 was the golden age of the rushing attack. I think with the way defenses have shifted, we might see superstar running backs (other than Henry) start to become valued and relevant again
the 2000s will always be the peak of the running back position
As a guy who grew up in Washington state, the Seahawks and Shaun Alexander had Steve Hutchinson and Walter Jones for their G/T combo that are both hall of famers now. He also had a top-tier FB in Mack Strong with a not so great NFC West. While he was talented, I hold Marshawn Lynch in a higher regard.
Brees joined the Saints in 2006, the same year as Sean Payton, he wasn't on the team in 2005 when they went 3-13
I'm glad I'm not the only one that sees Josh Allen as a young Cam Newton
Man if cam didn’t get hurt he’d still be playing. Most total yards by a qb in first 5 years
Derrick Henry’s speed really confuses me. Like there’s no reason that man should be outrunning corners that are like 40-50 lbs lighter than him. He’s built like a line backer but outruns dbs. Crazy
man I appreciate the videos brings me back bro and wanted to mention if you remember Chris Henry I think his name was at Cincinnati with Chad Ochocinco remember him man he was so good and I can't imagine his ceiling rip Henry when he lost his life back then reminds me of the Chase and Higgins that burrow has that was so sad he was a beast in madden also
That sonic shirt tho 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Glad I chose option 1. I knew I wasn’t trippin. & I gave the same reason FlemLo gave for the choice
FlemLo, do a "What happened to BenJarvus Green-Ellis" I feel that fits perfect as you're a Cincy fan and he ended his career there, plus you have plenty to cover. Cheers.
Josh Allen - cam Newton comparison is spot on
nice shirt my boy 😂🙏
I used to play i think it was 2k3 football with Urlacher on the cover, idk for sure. But i used to play with the Ravens and the defense was legendary so that part was a no brainer & on offense they had Jamal Lewis who had a TRUCKING of something like 97-99. I would pass like 10% against my buddies & pound it up the middle every time and Lewis would plow thru them for at least 4-5 yards a time. So when ppl used San Diego Chargers with Rivers, LT & Gates, damn it was hard to never mess up bc they could put points up fast.
I love the jamal Lewis vs priest Holmes debate but speaking of historical facts when comparing the 2. Priest set the the record for all time scoring record for RB. But gets overshadowed by Shaun Alexander shortly after cause he scored 1 more touchdown
There have been many players come back from a torn ACL and continue having great careers. But that number has risen since the advancement in medicine. The injury I always knew that you didn’t recover from was an Achilles tear. The only one to come to mind until Kobe and Durant was Dominique Wilkins to still be productive. Now that is proven to be an injury you could recover from. They are both devastating injuries that many players do not recover from, or are never the same. But players like Peterson and others have shown that with the right mindset, the right attitude, and work your ass off, you can do it
Cool t-shirt!
Babe wake up 40 minute FlemLo video just dropped
Jamal Lewis is underrated and under appreciated tbh
This years’ OPOY should’ve been Josh Jacobs, it’s a shame he didn’t even get nominated
