Not only was the concert absolutely amazing, we got to spend our 22nd wedding anniversary in the City of Lights. Just one other thing that needs to be said, my wife is disabled and the staff working the concert at Arenes de Nimes were bloody fantastic in making sure we had a great experience.
I began playing in 1963. Professionally in 1966. Then I heard David Gilmour in 1969 and everything changed. I mean everything. The way I listened to music, the way I thought about the guitar, the way I wrote and played everything. As big of an influence as the Beatles were, David Gilmour took over from the first time I heard what he did. Over the past 53 years I have developed my own style, but there is always a little DG that slips in here and there. What an Artist! Thank You, David!

I was there both nights,,I was looking at David when he lost his guitar pick during the In any tongue solo but he kept going with his fingers and incredibly the sound didn't change that much, nobody else can make me feel so connected,I could see the entire tour and never get bored
yes he's so cool when he plays 🎵it's a plucking string to ur soul...just the right sounds ! brings you to another place if you just chill n let him guide the way. they say ,he's not the "best' but it's his style is rare ...n that puts him on best guitarists list. not that we need one!! it's just a conversation piece . like everything else... if we didn't make a list, you could still live n enjoy ,..eat ur hearts out egomaniacs .

David is the stellar example of quality and musicianship. He is the bar. He is the line in the sand. It would be something to meet this man and his family. My first PF show was in Houston in 1980. I saw them again at the Capital Center in 1987. Many Shows, I recorded them RFK 1994. I can't thank the PF experience and David for the music and memories. An all time great!
