I love how much Aizawa's backstory recontextualizes his previous interactions, especially with Shinso. I hope that this arc gets animated in the main series, although I'm not sure where they'll put it.
Would've been great if they make a Vigilantes anime & air it in-between MHA seasons.
Maybe they could animate parts of aizawas vigilantes scenes and play it in between the episode where aizawa and mic are going to talk to kurogiri

@@Anu_Vailious Aizawa's backstory takes up the better part of 6 fairly dense chapters, and for a Shonen manga, the ideal adaptation rate is 2-3 chapters per episode.
@@hhhhjjj9470 Personally, I would like to see it at the end of the Joint Training Arc. The placement would put the focus more on Aizawa's relationship with his students and what he's trying to teach them, while still keeping the Shirakumo thing surprising to anime onlies.

{manga spoilers} In the manga, the doctor working for AFO said that they'd been watching Aizawa for a while before Shirakumo's death because they were planning to steal his quirk/turn him into a noumu. But Shirakumo died first and they decided to take his body instead because it was such a great opportunity to get a UA student's quirk. On one hand it's super creepy that Aizawa was being watched as a kid, but on the other, Shirakumo's death actually saved Aizawa's life.
They probably hoped to assassinate Aizawa at some point...

Yep, the rest would be mist. But if Eri can rewind quirks then shirakumos would have both the cloud quirk and warp gate.
i don't think it's possible , i think aizawa though about it , but he said that he's just a dead body who died years ago , and that nothing can bring him back , and i think that at this moment he was thinking about eri and concluded that even eri can't bring him back

In order to do that she would have to find kurogiris real body, of course he would have to be knocked out in order to do this. But the only thing Eri could do would be to at least give his memory back, other then that she can’t do anything else. Only if kurogiri wasn’t mist then I’m pretty sure she can revive him. Other than that she can’t do much.

Maybe and maybe not, after all if she knew how to use her quirk a lot better she could’ve revived night eye. But it’s a possibility she couldn’t, after all her quirk only revises wounds and can make the person go back in time but stay in the present time. So basically all she could do is bring back his body and *maybe* bring him to the time where he was alive. But even if she did that he would still die again.

I love how everyone focuses on aizawa and don't give Yamada a second thought. It's not like mic could have ever gotten affected by loosing his best friend, being basically abused cause everyone hated his loud mouth cause even aizawa complains nonstop about mic being loud.
Sorry there isnt enough present mic attention. He's written off as, "that guy thats always with aizawa." There's not a single comic dub or vid just exlcusive to explaining that character. I love Aizawa I really do... But.... Mic doesn't get any love.

Fun fact?: Depression can cause some people to be more agitated and work more, so they can distract themselves from their depression, most people aren’t even aware they are depressed because they might occupy themselves with more tasks, Mic works 3 jobs, Teacher, DJ and Pro Hero, So He’s a workaholic same as Aizawa and Mic is always portrayed to have high energy at all times. To me I think both Aizawa and Mic represent the 2 extremes of what depression can do.

I do really wish, if possible that somehow, this Aizawa and Shirakumo story line would make it to the main My Hero story. Mainly because that way, it would hit much harder in the scene where Aizawa and Present Mic confront you know who. I know this is kind of useless thought because this story belongs to Vigilantes, but still, it would be one of the better developments in the series if possible.

To me him and Tamaki are quite similar and that’s why they are my favorite characters in the series
Imma go cry now, these are my fave characters and this backstory is so heartbreaking.
if it wasn't for shirakumo's death aizawa would be either quirkless or a nomu right now. Because in a chapter the doctor said that he was targeting erasure but instead he got shirakumo after death and made him as kurogiri. Because if he got the younger Aizawa which was powerless when it comes to combat it would have it easier for them but after shirakumo's death it was harder for the doctor to capture Aizawa cuz of his constant improvement in fighting. So if shirakumo wasn't killed off they would basically go after Aizawa but they got Shirakumo so they used him againts Mic and zawa
But in other terms
If they failed to get Aizawa or shirakumo means that in the future they will build a hero agency not making him a teacher or a character in BNHA
So basically even in what turns you make in the story between these three it will only be more sadder and sadder

Can someone tell me how the characters in vigilantes fit into the timeline and where are the other character in the present timeline especially the sliding boy
5-6 yrs before the events of the main series IIRC. As for the fate of the main vigilante trio especially Koichi, nobody knows yet, but the Vigilantes manga seems to be entering its final arc so we'll find out soon, perhaps.
I have a theory as to why aizawa acts the way he does
The reason why he is so strict with his students and the reason why he teaches them the way he does is because of Shirakumo
Now he protects them no matter what as we already know but once again I feel as if it’s because what happened with Oboro he ends up pushing through so much just so he can take care of the students because he wasn’t able to take care of Shirakumo then

It sounds alot like Gentle-Criminal's quirk could play useful in Deku's future. This is a big stretch, but him and Shirakumo have similar quirks in a way, they both create something so in a way they could create in a smaller dose. (sorry I am kind of drunk)

SPOILERS I hope that at some point in the main story Eri can try and use her quirk to fix shirakumo. Since he’s not just a rotting corpse, I feel like it might be possible. I love his design and his character is very interesting

Deku is way stronger than all might. It’s just if he learned to use his quirk without doing damage to himself, he would instantly be teaming with almost every pro hero on the streets.
I really love this Vigilante manga. If its actually canon, this is amazing. I want to see aizawas friend animated. Something about this manga is exciting.
