I raced all through the 80's at the Ranch Pitshop in Pomona CA. It was by Gil Losi and his son Gil Jr. I started with a RC 10 and eventually a Yokomo 4wd in the open division where I had the pleasure of racing Gil Losi Jr. Who was world champ at the time, I had my ass handed to me but it was a great memory. Thank you for bringing back great time in my life.

@@RCRetro Unfortunately no but I do have about 50 trophies from those races and the original plywood "Ranch Pitshop" sign. When they remodeled everything someone tossed it the dumpster so I grabbed it.
I also raced two other tracks in my area one in San Bernardino called " Outlaw Raceway" and another in West Covina that I can't remember the name of unfortunately. They each raced different nights of the week so on Wednesday it the Pitshop, Friday Outlaw and Saturday West Covina. It was a lot of fun, good racing, good people.
The track was actually in Glendora CA it was called the " Hobby Bench Raceway".I remembered right after I posted my last reply. Sorry to talk your ear off.

You can also print out results with lap times so you would know who made the fastest lap etc. Your races also show that you don't need the most expensive car to win! Slow is fast! P and look how you build the off-road track in your backyard and added flowers in between the piping and the corners like that to make your wife happy so she has flowers in a garden but you also have your RC track laugh out loud
cool racing, reminded me of the old day but i can't believe you guys are running XX & XXX losi's, there's no replacement parts out there for them, last year i looked for months for a XX front bulkhead and the only new one i could find the one of the ebay crooks was asking over $100 for it and the couple used ones i found were listed for $60 and $70 each, XXX parts prices have gotten just bad, in fact parts for all the not even that old of cars have become impossible to find at a price that is doable. So because of that i have 5 losi's, a couple tamiya's, an xray and a XTM all in various states of restoration and all sitting in boxes with a kyosho mad van VE about to join them for the same reason, luckily slash parts are still a dime a dozen.....keep up the good job...
rarely do you see such nice grass next to an rc track. you could have had an amazing yard but you chose RC. i respect the shit outta that. also tell me you live alone, without telling me you live alone.
My local RC indoor carpet track it's the same size carpet from the snowbirds race cuz we bought the 2019 snowbirds carpet track and set up in the warehouse and have club rates that we've been racing since 2010 in that building but anyways we just started doing off-road racing on the carpet and we start a vintage class using the new losi vintage re-released kits they have now that came out a couple months ago and it's been a blast using modern electronics and a vintage car cuz they just re-released the same cars from the seventies and eighties. And we've been talking about doing a monster trucks just like the class you showed in the first race looks really cool would be awesome of that carpet track demolition derby what would be cool

We have lap monitor system since last year. I have all our fastest laps ever for each class on a folder in my phone.

That Top Force Evo is a rerelease. What we run is a mixed bag...Some is original... while some are rereleases or mixed parts of original/releases.
