You could always install a D-ring on the floor and connect a bungee cord for less sway

the amount of swing in a bag depends partially on the length of chain. if the ceiling is high enough, any bag will start to swing more as you work it.
the 200 lb bag in this video seems to be hung lower and is tied down at the bottom. so, of course it wont swing as much.
also, if you're punching through the bag with power, and hitting it in the middle, the bag should "banana" (flex/fold in the middle) rather than swing away from you. if a bag is swinging a lot, it means you are pushing too much.
there's nothing wrong with hitting the bag as it swings towards you. a 70 lb bag is fine for that. a swinging bag also gives you at least a little something to react off of, in terms of miming some defense. pretty simple concept explained below:

Yup. People underestimate how much skill is required to use a heavy bag correctly. If you want to just go crazy on something with bad technique just pad up a section of wall. Way easier and save some money.

It's not tied down. The 200lb bag was the exact same height and placement as the 100lb bag, and it didn't move near the same. It eventually swings, but it swings way less and is way easier to control.

This is the best bag imo. I hit in the 900s on those punch machines and I'm not a big guy 6' 160 but the 100 pound bags would fly all over the place. This bag doesn't just not fly around but fights back 😄

I would think that you would be better to fill the tube to the top due to the fact that you now have an unevenly weighted bag with more weight near the bottom, which would serve to increase bag swing as the weight is further out from the point of attachment. Alternatively you could use a lighter filler at the bottom and put the sand near the top to counter the tendency to swing.

Hey I was thinking of buying an anchor for my heavy bag and was wondering if it ever gets in the way of your feet? I was contemplating buying a sand bag instead for the smaller footprint, what's your take?

don't listen to this fool. half your bodyweight is good. 100lbs is a good, economical bag too.
you should be ducking, weaving, moving in/out/laterally, working angels, getting used to putting power into a moving object, work on timing, learn your range. if you have good snap on your punches the bag won't move much at all. a 100lbs bag with a bungee cord on the bottom attached to about 115lbs in olympic plates will move about the same or less as this super dense bag that will probably break your hands.
