Apparently the 'Imaginary boyfriend/girlfriend from Canada' is a somewhat common thing for American kids 😂 Same as "You wouldn't know them/they go to a different school"
maybe it was the “bieber fever” cause JB is a canadian. it’s probably different for every generation.
@coolcarlo9370 Oh the "You don't know them, they go to another school" thing is decades and decades old. Sorry I didn't clarify actually, in the UK and Ireland kids say that (probably plenty of other places too but I can only speak for the Ireland and I know the UK did it just as much because we're so close together and it's a shared trope)
Emmett Otterton was screaming about night howlers because he's a florist, therefore knows what they actually are.

Two of my favourite Disney films of recent years. I love how they tackle mature topics, and don't talk down to their target audience.
Same! I even wrote write a paper about Zootopia for my grad school psychology based (for a public policy degree) course.
Same!! Two incredible movies with just the right amount of happiness to explain the more serious topics.
Inside Out is surprisingly clever, making an engaging story about everyday emotional functioning.
Fun fact about inside out! The disgust food for each country the movie was released in was changed to suit the most common food babies despised the most!
I can't wait for Inside out 2!
'Inside Out' is for sure my favourite Pixar movie. Hope the sequel doesn't disappoint. 🤞
The DMV scene in Zootopia is simply genius 😂😂
Inside Out hit me especially hard since I had to learn to accept that being sad and letting myself cry is both okay and actually important

In "inside out" the part where bing bong disappears I think could be a rappresentation that we grew up, and that's why joy couldn't make it with bing bong on board (obv my opinion, but I thought would be a nice analogy)
Instead of Fleetwood Yak, they could’ve included Yakira. But I doubt Shakira would’ve loved being portrayed as a yak (understandably)😅

This movie is INCREDIBLE with color theory.
Riley: striped shirt as they're moving with all colors on them to show theyre in harmony, or so it seems. yellow jacket on the first day of school because she's still young enough to be excited. Striped shirt sans blue and yellow at the dinner table because all of her emotions are fighting for control with joy and sadness gone. Black jacket because she's emotionally shutting down.
Emotions: joy has blue hair, backing up the theory joy and sadness go hand in hand. Disgust has a purple ascot, suggesting disgust is mainly motivated by what scares us. Anger is wearing a red tie showing how when were angry, we can't see, hear, or feel anything else. Think, "seeing red". Fear itself is purple, a mix of red and blue, or in this case, anger and sadness. And finally Sadness is wearing a white turtleneck as a combination of all the emotions, like how all light is combined to make white light.
Yup in my case, which I believe I commented on the OG Inside Out video, it was the first Chucky movie at 8, when I should have been in bed.

"rabbits will fuck you up!" Please, if you are ever at a loss for something to watch, the 1978 animated Watership Down film, I beg you. Hardly anyone reacts to it.
I have a few imaginary friends, and they still are with me. I can never forget them.
When they're tossing memories, they're not just getting rid of stuff she doesn't need. They're getting rid of stuff that was associated with the island that was just destroyed.
And for the record, if at any point you've ever said, "I'm not a kid anymore.", that's how you know YOUR goofball island has been destroyed.
I'm about to leave to go to the dentist and get my crown moulding done. So now I have this to listen to, to help ward off my anxiety! Perfect timing, thank you!

The fear of clowns for me is the faces. I know it’s paint but the smell of the face paint and latex balloons always makes me scared.
Zootopia makes me think of what immigrants back then used to think of coming to America. They thought it was this great wonderful place where the streets are made of gold and you could do and be anything. Now while it is true that most might have a better chance to be successful in America we are the furthest from perfect and this movie is a perfect example of it.
You two are so much fun to watch. Hope the steph is doing well and comes back once a month or so for new videos
