This one of my favorite shoes from that brand color way so fire. Lastly, for me always like details of whole shoes 🔥
In general, I like 'es shoes. Even the ones that aren't for me and a bit hip hop looking. Love that these are vegan because why not. Tbh I have my eye out for shoes that offer good breathability and low bulk, especially for the hotter weather that follows spring. Idk if canvas is my answer, but starting to feel like a halfass vegan when I go for certain shoes. Still the suede accels are perfect!
This Muska shoe would be too much for me. Maybe its just a lot of upper, I skated in 2003-2006 so I knew some puffy shoes. I have bought a pair of shoes from that era that are no longer made, I used to have a pair of really broken in etnies artos in black suede that I'd basically outgrown so they fit like a slim shoe. These reissues are super updated though so they're less bulky and you can probably skate them instead of collecting. Although some shoes refuse to be beaters. I recently tried to skate the beefed up dc metrics with the bigger midsole and almost broke my feet, everytime I rolled my ankle. I finally decided "for my size, this would be a better bmx shoe" lol.
The muska seems to have a similar midsole but it's flatter, another issue the taller metrics had was my foot sliding all the way forward. But from my experience, I'd be wary getting such a shoe. For example, I like how the es quattro look alot but my judgement tells me for going outside and practicing flips it might not be the shoe for me. Might be wrong, but the dc's reinforced that judgement times three.
I've definitely started to organize the shoes I skate into tiers, like from chill to okay I'm gonna take a shortcut down the stairs.
If I put accel x swift 1.5 whatever against a telford, they have the same outsole, from the side only. But one shoe feels a lot softer than the other. I gravitate towards the suede accels more. The telfords feel less chill on the tier list (coarser), and so on. I'm not sure what you call this, I guess it's exposed midsole. And some are not foam in the reissues like they used to be, like you've said in another video..
I think cupsole is more preferable (and it is sometimes recommended over vulc for older skaters) than a design closer to a modern basketball shoe. Like the dc outsole before the foam is a thick slab of hard rubber that flares out past the foot. Landing straight down on that with a tweaked ankle is pretty horrible every time, for me anyway.
Are you into the shoe cutting videos? Like let's break out the bandsaw and cut the shoe in half, get a cross-section type of thing.
Sorry for interrupting what I’m assuming was this video being filmed today. Hope you and the staff have a chance to enjoy the older skate videos before they find a new home.
Just curious how these and other fat boy reissues are selling over the modern offerings
I didn't even know Muska had an es shoe until I saw these re issues, I only had his circas back in the day. These look dope
Haha are you kidding me, I'm from Santa Barbara which 90% of Fullfill The Dream was filmed at. That was probably one of the first videos I ever watched as a kid, great video
My bad, my bad! It was the second video I had. Birdhouse The End being the first and Osiris the Storm shortly after
Fantastic review 😊
All brown would be a crazy colour for these
EPICNESS !!!!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

Not really a fan of the colorway but those insoles are fucking sick.
I heard this colorway is done in nubuck. Is that so?
