I hope all Canadians who loved Chris Hyndman realize that we here in the U.S. loved Chris and Steven also. They were a class act and when the "Live Well" Network was cancelled here in Upstate NY, I was so upset because I could no longer watch their show...RIP, Chris. You're in God's loving arms now.
wow i havent watch tv much anymore but i use to watch that when nothing was on. RIP
These two, Steven and Chris were huge. They were going to have global recognition. He was a nice guy. Sad to see him gone. I can only offer one final sentement. RIP. We still remember you. Alas. Gone too soon.

this makes me cry, it was my favorite show
after moving I looked for The Steven & Chris show, but could never find it and was very disappointed. I had to get a cable service just to see any kind of TV.. a real rip-off. I am thankful that I dud get to see their show prior to my moving in 2013 , June. I loved watching their show. It gave good advice & ideas, guest people who were always entertaining. Rest in Peace Chris, you are being greatly missed. Here is a little phrase that perhaps can offer some splice to your loved ones.

I have been watching this couple for about two years. Each day they stepped up to the standards of CBC and I always learned something or had a laugh. There are many talk shows to choose from daily. I will forever be glad that I choose Steven & Chris...Steven may your memories give you solise with your family at this time

No way, this is the first I'm hearing about this!!! The ironic thing is that I really started turning to shows such as "Design Rivals" and "So Chic", both "Steven and Chris" shows, after I lost my mom in early July of 2015 (twelve years after losing my dad, too). I found them to be both life-affirming and hugely comforting to watch and I always looked at them as happy reminders of the land of the living, so to find out that one of the pair died just a month after my mom did... so heart-wrenching. 2015 continues to prove itself as the Year of Death and I simply cannot wait for it to go away.
It's a shame. Just to think I was watching them live a few days before and now Chris is gone. When someone passes away it's unreal really. When my grandpa passed away I didn't know what to do. I didn't know how to control my emotions and I didn't know how to react. I was in total shock. I was very close to my grandpa and the last words I heard him say was “Goodbye (my name). I love you. See you soon." And sure enough I saw him a few weeks later. At the funeral. What I'm trying to say is that if you are close to somebody even if you don't know them in real life, its hard to contemplate that someone you love is gone.
Always entertaining and down to earth guys. And appreciated the team's dynamic, fun and educational aspects of their work. You have to admire the successful life they built together. Thank you for being such amazing role models.
Condolences to Steven, family, friends and fans. Chris will truly be missed.

I was so sad to hear of Chris' death. My condolences go out to Steven & his other loved ones, he brought a lot of happiness to a lot of people. Rest in Peace dear Chris. You are greatly missed.

I was soo saddened to hear of Chris' death , for whatever reason he was taken from all of us. My heart goes out to Steven and his other loved ones. I discovered their show one time, and from then on would always look forward to it. It was a neat show; they were so hospitable & talented ; I feel so lucky that Zi did get to enjoy it when I did. I was able to see it on a channel, 10.2, prob. a real fluke. At the time I did not have any cable Tv service at all. I moved from the area abt. 75 miles

Tragic. Just so tragic. I've been a huge fan of Steven and Chris since their shows So Chic, Design Rivals and Designer Guys. I'm glad Steven announced that he's cancelling Steven and Chris because nobody, and I mean NOBODY, can ever replace him at all (according to Chris's mother, she said he was a sleepwalker and believes he fell off the balcony of the couple's home during a sleep walk, which is a dangerous disorder). RIP Chris :-(

I saw his name on Wiki recent deaths I didn't know his last name and when I saw it was the Chris from Steven and Chris, my heart sank. I had no idea he had died and though I didn't watch his show regularly when I did he always made me laugh. Together the two were a matched perfect pair. Steve the quite one and Chris just the opposite. My heart goes out to the family and friends. My heartfelt condolences to Steven...
