Marimba One sucks big green Donkeys parts....search craigslist and get a vintage 3.5 Deagan ....They are Masterpeieces and sound like crysral glass. Aged Honduran rosewood...beautiful... brass with 3x chrommed they are perfect and handmade. Chicago USA
Ahahahaha ok well... Vintage can't be compared to modern instruments, esp since they don't make them anymore 😂
@@AdamTanPercussion Thanks Adam, I bought mine this year from a 1 owner since 1936, she died in 2017, and I bought it from her daughter recently in SF bay area, 1400.00. Its the preverbal grandmas car that's been garaged since new. all bars are very resilient except the last .5 octave, then I have to switch to a harder mallet, its very mallet sensitive, by the way....your awesome... I got it on Craigslist and I know why most passed on it, they were all looking for 4.5 octaves, but myself concentrating on jazz, I use it like a vibe, and use a amp with foot pedals and effects...weird I know... I am the producer, Mystic Fog Garden....you might like my composure, "Lady in Red".
PS, I have a FB site dedicated to the marimba, past owner, and my future aspirations for the marimba, and its for my teachers in Jazz Studies, American River College, so I dont post on the site or have friends, but I would be honored if you were a special friend on this private facebook site.
