You mean everyone don't already do that? Every racecar I owned and drove (15 cars in 25 years), all of them use Ford solenoid. I don't recall seeing very many racecars that don't use that system.

I really wish they would have bigger tracks
The biggest we race on normally in this part of the southeast is 4/10 mile.
Florida has a 1/2 mile and Nashville has a 5/8 mile but that’s about it.
What is their reasoning for putting a volt meter on the dizzy? Whats the cheating that is done with the distributors?
Somebody smarter than me and above my paygrade will have to answer that.
