      to be fair...the word gets more prevalent because we (early hip hop generation) were the ones to witness said legends when they were budding. Truth be told, if these artists started out in the 80's 90's and they are now here and ALIVE to tell their story and impact no matter how big or small.....then they are LEGENDS. Salute

    DOPE. i was priviledged to be an adolescent when this stuff came out. if you were not there, you cant imagine how fresh and new hiphop still was. and everybody sounded different. it was a blessing to experience that.

      I went to fashion HS on 23rd, spent lots of time in the village and was from the bronx, so being a black hip hop/house kid, I was def "left of center" or a "dirty backpacker" which was one of the terms from back in the day.. The JB's, Tribe and De La made it respected to be both. even in my purple paisley shirt and purple 5411's..LOL

      KAS KAS Yeah I get you I hope the sound gets carried on too. If the originators of that sound are no longer cohesive it might not work though. Bringing in new talent might bridge that gap.

    Done By The Forces Of Nature. My #1 hip hop album of all time. Just listened to it today, while cleaning, and again, while cooking. My KIDS have had no choice but to love this album.

    I've been listening to them for the last two weeks and so many memories have come to mind. I enjoyed listening to Jungle Brothers growing up. They had flow, there beats were hot and their style was strong. I love " I'll House You " that track is still hot in 2022💪🏼👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻

    Tribe Vibes: I hung out with the J Beez at Paard in 2017, The Hague (the Netherlands) before and after their show.

    The Jingle Brothers were a monumental group that shaped the consciousness of black people growing up in the 80s. Their positive outlook on Africa and blackness is appreciated. Great tribute Sway. I'm subscribing.

    A few years back Baby Bam and my Brotha T.C. Izlam came to the Bay to interview me and our SF Zulu Chapter. Instead of staying at a Hotel they was like we just going to crash at your crib. That was an unforgettable night😂 Rest In Power T.C. Izlam🤟🏽
