  • A Walgreens located at Colfax and Havana now closes at 6 p.m. Inside the store, several aisles sit empty. Some neighbors believe it was partly due to crime. Now, some are worried crime will lead to the closure.

They would never do that or to say democrats wouldn't never allow it. They don't care about businesses getting ripped off.

1995 Denver was such a neat place to walk around. The light and tall building's were so neat. Now i would never go there and walk around at night. It used to be a nice safe area. That all changed around 2010

It’s in the Denver metro area! The crime is even in the more upscale communities. Aurora is a little cheaper to live than Denver. These democrat state is becoming more like California everyday.

Buses go up and down Havana and Colfax. If Walgreens closes and someone is taking the bus to work, it's just one more stop. However, having lived on buses, I know that one more stop take more time than just getting on and off a bus. Another observation. a cannabis dispensary across the street from Walgreens.

They see it and don't respond! They don't care! I see it every day!! This will create a healthier, more vibrant community! If stores close, everyone can walk miles to get their products, thus cutting healthcare costs! And then we can use the abandoned spaces to house the unhoused. Everyone will have housing and exercise, I'm so excited!

Just got to make it even more inconvenient for the people trying to make an honest living. Shame. People shouldn't have to have a meeting about a damn bus stop. It's a problem and there's people in positions to make changes, as always, that can't figure it out clearly. DPD takes hours to respond to calls, which have also been known to feed into Aurora jurisdiction, so idk what report THIS news is reporting, but it's not entirely accurate... Cool though! 😂 These are stores that have a HUGE impact on the communities around, so we can all point fingers on a solution, when really we should be calling this nonsense an early act of pre- gentrification.
If it affects the community, since WHEN is it acceptable for police to overlook their oaths and avoid trying to help protect and serve?
When it's happening right next door to their departments and headquarters?! Maybe THAT'S how they should make their bus stop re-design ideas happen.
If it were a more entitled neighborhood like in Cherry Hills Village, you can BET, there would be a different approach. 😂😂😂
