"I'm dancing in the rice. I'm dancing in the rice. What a wonderful feeling. I'm-- happy in the rice. Always happy" Gosh, Peter Sellers will always be the best Clouseau the big screen ever had. No one could ever do it better than him.
I am so occupied with laughing when I watch this scene that I nearly forget how absolutely perfect the background music score is, and how pretty this hallway looks.
I did a pretty fair impression of this the other day. Bag of shopping and Dalmatian. Managed to open garden gate. Dog suddenly pulled me, dropped my oranges and nuts on the path - slipped on a walnut and ended up on my knees just as my neighbour opened her front door. Swine dog! Cue music.
I was a child when I met him in London with my father... Just by chance I spotted him in Marylebone High St and my father asked him for an autograph for me.....
Good god. You could never put Steve Martin in same class as Peter Peter was a one of a genuine Genuis 🇮🇪
No bad language,no violence,just plain comedy.brilliant.
Only Clouseau could turn walking out of an elevator into such a trainwreck.

There is only one Clouseau. Peter Sellers

When the salt or rice starts pouring out of the bag and he looks up to the ceiling, my soul left my body. Timeless.
how Peter Sellers could act without laughing is a mystery to me.

This film came out in 1982, 2 years after his passing. Died so young at 55. I hope you are happy wherever you are right now Peter.
this scene is made of pure gold and the music is the cherry on top. this clip is funny af from start to finish, one of my favorites!
His comic with this music is just perfect! Genius indeed!
I could watch this movie again
I saw this in the theater as a kid but appreciate it much more as an adult.
Peter Sellers did a pretty decent soft shoe.
Peter Sellers was a comic genius.
