Never thought much of the cb until I rode one ........they're a lovely motor..
It's sound like the most beautifull bike ever made...
The seat is not original, it is nice, but cannot be sold as an original bike, but can as a nice K0

what a beautiful machine. I hear the upgrade to the engine. I'm not a fan. I hear a lot of cam chain slap and note the removal of the stock muffler resonators. Yeah, you can tweak the engine with this or that for a few more horsepower, but all you have achieved is raping the beauty and innocence of the original motorcycle. At Best all you will do is pull slightly away from the stock version of the bike. It was about that same time the fledgling DOHC 750s and 900s came along and rendered the SOHC all but useless for power and performance. the DOHCs would hand you your ass 7 days a week and twice on Sundays.
The absolute beauty of the 1960s - 1970s Honda CB 750 SOHC was its smoothness and simplicity. A masterpiece of motorcycle engineering.

I worked at a Honda shop from 1973 to 1974. The early Honda Fours (1969-1971) were VERY strong runners, and they sounded like nothing else did, or has since. After 1971, Honda started de-tuning the engines little by little. The very best, and the very fastest models, were the 1969 and 1970 models.

@ CR750 was the racing version and the bike you mention is merely a CB750 with a half fairing!!!!!
