I USED TO HAVE SUPER BAD ANXIETY. It was horrible. I had it for about 4 years. I would overthink things all the time, I was scared to raise my hand in class to answer a question because I was scared to be judged, I couldn't even talk to a girl one on one because I was so anxious! I wanted to be in theatre because I liked acting but I didn't want people to judge me in a bad way for getting into theatre and being some "weird theatre kid". I never went to church, I had never prayed or read the Bible before. Then one day in 2018, my friend invited me to a Bible study at our high school. I thought about it and decided to go and check it out. And on October 9, 2018, my LIFE was changed forever. I remember leaving the classroom so happy and excited to come back the next week. So I started to go to the Bible study every week and begin to learn about God. The true and living God of the Bible. I started to pray and read the Bible and see if God was truly real, and then over the summer I went to this huge church conference and on the last night, the preacher said "if anyone's going through anything, I want you to come to the front and ask God to heal you" and I went to the front and I got down on my knees and I actually cried out to God for the first time and I said, "God, if you can actually heal me, please help me!”, and right after I said that, I heard the clear voice of God for the first time in my entire life and one of the only times I heard Him so clearly, and He spoke to me saying, "I've healed you from your anxiety right now, and it's not going to come back." And right after that happened the preacher said "If anyone got healed, I want you to come up onto the stage and tell everyone" and instantly I went up onto the stage and told about 900 people that Jesus had healed my anxiety! And ever since that day, my anxiety hasn’t come back, and I know it’s not going to. And He can do the same for you, no matter what you’re going through or struggling with, Jesus has authority over it and can heal you!
Now here’s the thing: Me and you have sinned and broken every single one of the 10 commandments. We are not good people. And if you are not born again, you are on your way to facing the wrath of God and eternal torment! And I used to be in that place too! If you are not for Jesus, you are against Him which makes you an enemy to God. And there is nothing that you can do to earn forgiveness. Does that concern you? Well here’s the good news: God loved you so much that He sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to the earth, and Jesus lived a perfect life, He never sinned once, and then He died on the cross for you. He sacrificed His life for you, offering you the gift of salvation. And the Bible says in Romans 10:9 that "if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you shall be saved." So you have to believe that He died on the cross and rose again to save you from your sins and place your faith in the finished work of the cross. Now we are not saved by works, but you should begin to read the Bible daily and pray frequently. God truly touched someone to write these lyrics. Got me in tears. The truth of Jesus is so beautiful, a regular man didn’t die for us our very God came down from heaven and died to save us and redeem us into a relationship with him. He didn’t have to do any of this! Yet he loved us even while we were still in our sins.

When I lost both of my parents a few years ago.
This was the only song that kept me, from jumping into their graves.
I miss both of my parents every day.
My mom died from Uterine Cancer (October-2012)
My dad had a massive stroke (June-2014)
My parents both met in the 9th grade, and they got married after my dad came home from Vietnam War in 1968.
My oldest son dad died in Christmas 2007
My grandmom died May 2020
My family pet died June 2020
My oldest brother died August 27, 2020

All I have in this world are my two son’s and Jesus Christ my Lord and savior.

My father just passed away last month and the pain is so heavy. He had a heart attack and didn't even have a chance to play with my 1 yr old daughter because of the lock downs due to the pandemic. They say time heals all pain but honestly I'm not sure how to recover from this kind of pain. May God let them enter Heaven and give them everlasting peace and happiness.

I am not one who only listens to Christian music, but also to a lot of secular music. But what must be acknowledged is that these artists are simply some of the best (and consistently so) musicians and singers in the world. Apart from the obvious appreciation that I, as a Christian, will have for the inspirational lyrics, I am always astounded by the absolutely exceptional vocal range and vocal quality, and consistency in these bands, and even more so whenever I hear this lady sing. And the dynamics of the music is ALWAYS on point. It is crazy when you think how minimal effort is put into contemporary pop music, yet millions of fans go wild every week for music that is often an insult by the artists in return for the loyalty of their fans. Yet, these artists like Hillsong always honour the listeners demand for good quality music. Just amazing!
