HULK’s great-great grandmother Maia is the OG of dog breeders Dark Dynasty K9s, the pitbull who started it all. Acquired by DDK9s founder Marlon Grennan as a 10-week-old puppy, Maia - whose name means ‘female warrior' - has produced generations of the finest protection pups. But the 12-year-old was diagnosed with terminal cancer a year ago, and now DDK owners Marlon and Lisa face an impossible decision as they decide whether or not the time has come to say goodbye to their beloved matriarch. The story is featured in the new season of Barcroft TV’s hit online show Dog Dynasty, which has racked up more than 150 million views on CZcams and Facebook. The show follows the fortunes of Hulk and the other DDK9 protection dogs, which sell for between $5000 and $25,000 and has catapulted Hulk to global superstardom, with the loveable giant having his own dog food brand and merchandise line.

I’m watching this after general and ace died
Just discovered this video, brought back memories that day when I took my baby to the vet to put her to rest. She was so much in pain and this is the only way to stop her suffering. I remember holding her in my arms as I feel her heart beat slowing down and she gave me that look that what I did for her is ok. She licked my hand til she faded away. I held her tight for an hour after she had stopped breathing wishing that a miracle would happen and she'd come back to life. I was never the same after that and I still mourn her passing til this day. The bond between a person and their best friend is incomparable to others. This video truly shows this.

Its true bro. My boys been dead for 2 yrs almost. I never really believed in the after life or spirits etc. But , after he passed , I would come home from work and as soon as I opened my door I was greeted by his odor. It was like usual but I just could not see him. Once while walking around the dinning table..again it hit me and then his smell is gone. I kept a bowl of water out for him after he passed because he always liked to drink water at night. I heard him drink that night and the night after. Crazy huh? . Most recently...I'm driving a rental car and all of a sudden I find a strand of his hair on the car seat that hes never been in.?? There's more , but ill stop there. We were their world dude ..we were all they cared about..24/7 365days.
It took some of my sadness/regret away knowing he's still around & yeah I still have his bowls out.😂

@@scarletpimpernel388 you could say it like that, but it's more about them being able to defend. It's about obedience. Obviously it's on command and they stop when they tell them to stop. If you don't have a foundation for aggressive breeds (especially with multiple dogs) then they are more likely to not only develop pack mentality, but also have no direction on right or wrong.

Bro, i know the feeling; i just lost my 11 year old english bulldog, he was a real friend for ever and every time i think of him which is all the time puts this 66 year old man to cry, i miss him so much and he took a piece of me, i miss you papa. Maia is in dog heaven. You are great owner if that helps a little.

You don't leave the past behind you, it stays in your memory. We just had to put to sleep two of our elderly dogs, one in November, and one in December. I remember all of our pets that we have said good-bye to, you don't ever forget, you learn to live with it. Most of our dogs were rescues.

What I love about Marlon and Lisa is that these dogs are part of their family. They love them all, and it shows. A lot of times trainers love animals and that’s why they do that work. But you can see that it’s not just about a job with him. These dogs are part of his soul. And anytime time he looses one, you can see the pain. The reason his dogs are so incredible is because of the way they are cared for, trained and especially how much they are loved. And they give back that love unconditionally. Thank for what you do❤️

You should try CBD oil it has helped all my horses and dogs I had this one horse who had HORRIBLE arthritis to where his knee was like 3 times the normal size sadly I let him suffer because he was the horse who got me into horses and he was Amazing and perfect he never had a single bad or mean bone in his body and I went on vacation and I was forced to go because my mom made me and he was suffering for about 3 days but my dad was supposed to take care of him and I got a call from my dad and he was like get home as soon as possible I don’t know how much longer studley will last that was one of the worst days of my life but it helped his arthritis so much until the 3 days my dad didn’t use it
I know how you feel. My pitbull had cancer and she wasn't expected to live more than a few weeks. She was 12 and I still remember the day we got her. She essentially was the queen of the dogs in my neighborhood. She always had a type of victory "I am the boss" type walk so we named her missy. We been through hard time but she was put to rest to stop the suffering. RIP missy 2006-2018.

I just lost my best friend of 11 years. She was the best dog I have ever had. I have been looking at puppies to fill the hole in my heart . It has been one of the hardest times in my life and I have lost many people. I feel your pain in this. My girl got cancer too. It’s hard to go through. Big love

Ben Carter if they truly loved and cared about their dogs they'd breed for healthy dogs instead of bastardizing the Pitt Bull name with obvious mastiff mixes.
The thing is, there are so many homeless dogs sitting in shelters that could use a home. Breeding in any way shape or form is taking a home away from an animal in need. So yes, many people see puppy farmers like this in a negative light because it’s wrong.

2. They genuinely care about the animal, this guy obviously does
3. It’s a puppy mill / overbreeding

I get it when people say to adopt. Like yes, please always consider to adopt, but I also get it how they are trying to continue on the family.

I've been watching almost since these two started this wonderful channel, when they lose a dog it hits me so hard. I cry with them. My dog Nikki was an old dog I had since I was 5 or 6. She passed away when I was around 18 or 19. 8 or 9 years ago. #DOGGOLOVE
