I learned more from watching this video than my entire year of 9th grade.
Vlog Epicness OMG I’ve watched every single one of your vids
Quit watching CZcams in class. Derrr
you should try not messing about at school
As a 9th grader, I can confirm
I’m in 9th grade right now and I can confirm this
I restored a 1989 rm125 last year fully rebuild the engine and tore it down to the frame and made sure everything was good and replaced everything that needed to be and got it running and looking mint then gave it to a friend of mine who couldn’t afford a dirt bike and he loves it and rides it all the time
Max Johnson wow what a genuine great thing to do
Dude, that is so cool.
Dude can you get clips, that’s heartwarming
I feel like u know more then 99% of mechanics man. Its impressive
I've had my share of finding crazy stuff while opening neglected engines, LOL! But, it is still fun to make them work properly again. The satisfaction of seeing them become like new again is a kick i wouldn't wanna miss. Great vid again!
I love it how you ex-plane everything as disassemble the motor , Great video Cam
Yeah I rescued a 2001 YZ 250F About 9 years ago. I brought it all the way from a blown up engine with metal debris in every oil journal lol it was crazy like nothing I've ever seen. The crankshaft was broken the piston was cracked. My biggest worry was making sure that I got all of the metal debris out of the engine and oil lines. Dropped a Hot Rods big bore kit in it converted it from manual decompression to automatic decompression what a big difference that made. It was a piece of junk sitting on the side of somebody's house for years in Las Vegas Nevada. After everything was said and done it was an extremely nice bike again and it ran like a champion . Time money and effort gets er done and know how.
ian reed ive rescued a few bikes including 1999 yz250 2t and an xr80 also in the middle of another xr80
I've done the same thing with a 2003 rm 125,
@@jayfouracre311 It's something enjoyable and looking for one right now too start on .
Who else was waiting for him to upload
I love engine tear downs, to see what’s inside 😍😍
CEO of rebuilds
Pumped to see this thing take shape!!
Wow!! I really hand it to You Cameron, you got this down. This Rm is going to be revived from the Dead. I cant wait!!! Awsome!!!
Loved watching you tear down the engine and explaining what you were looking for
Love it when he drops a video
Best instructional vids on CZcams hands down! Tought me lots👍🏻
Hey Cam, Thanks for the Build contest! It's given me the needed motivation to start a project!
You have such a great talent for restoration. With all the videos you've done you have to have a great reputation. I think you should be able to make some decent money restoring bikes. It is so satisfying to watch your videos lol.
She's so clapped but glad to see you bring her back to life. Should make for some good vids.
It's crazy how all the Japanese bikes are so similar inside the cases. Thanks for the video Cameron. Good refresher course since I'm rebuilding my 2001 cr 125 engine in January.
Your videos are so entertaining and educational. I'm excited to see how the bike will turn out at the end!
Such a nice thing of you to give a bike away like this. Already entered as soon as I saw the opportunity. Great work👍🏽
good stuff Cameron it's a pleasure watching a real pro in action.
Good luck an Merry Christmas everybody.
Thanks for more rebuild videos - awesome to see you doing well brother!
Hi Cameron,I did a 94 kx 250 last winter,I had Eric gorr do my top end with 300 big bore, very happy with the way this bike runs
#D
Love to watch you work and am glad your back to normal
Hoping to pick up a 94 cr250 this week. I'd I do I'm gonna try to enter the contest. Thanks for the awesome videos and all the info. I've learned allot watching!!
What a Christmas ride that was!! All the best to you and yours for the year ahead camstrong!! And to the family of this channel wish you all the best!!!!! Brap✊
That poor bike was neglected pretty bad . Good thing you found it and took in as your own. Now you'll bring it back to health like a poor abandoned dog.
First time I've watched a tear down video this is nice I wish I knew how to put all the parts back myself I would do my own engine this is so cool
Excellent Vid Man, Really looking forward to this build !!!
Greatest dirt bike rebuilder I’ve done seen 💯‼️
These rebuild videos are great for me helping me learn how to 1 day fix my own bike keep these videos coming love them!
Love your RM250 tear-down vids man! This is a TRUE tear-down. Thanks!
Never a dull moment in Pryme Tyme. Thanks Cam !
I cannot wait to see this bike and its engine get cleaned. It's gonna be so satisfying.
Really liking this build Cameron. Cant wait to ride my new bike.
This is going to be a great rebuild to watch
Great video. Good job Nick. That was funny and awesome.
@CameronNiemela 10:14 a tip for removing stripped screw heads that usually works well is a syringe with valve grind compound. Just a small amount on the end of your bit and it works very well. A good last resort before praying it works haha.
These are the best vid's for me. Love to see the tear down and build up's.
O yeah, and Merry Christmas Cam!! Thanks for all the great videos!!
I learned a Lot seeing You bring life to ALL this bikes . Thank You Very much Cameron.
Merry Christmas and happy New year to everybody.
Don't forget to check the other side "female side" of those worn dogs in the adjacent gear. With the rounding on the dogs, there will likely be the same or similar wear on the other gear too.
Just got through rebuilding a 2004 RM125 now splitting a 2004 RM250 I replaced every bearing/seal/bolts all OEM along with the crank/top-end.
Super detailed video. Great work! Loved the save a bike video! Wish this contest happened a year ago I rebuilt my sons 99 RM125.
I am about to close the cases of my 2002 CR125 Husqvarna after a complete rebuild. Now I'll be looking for another MX bike to rebuild. I have been doing this since the 60s as a hobby on my own bikes. Cameron has a cleaner shop than mine. I rebuilt the crank myself. I have not polished the engine but thinking about it. Good job Cameron.
The inside of the motor really tells a story
Awesome video Cameron!you really know yur stuff!
Cameron spreading the Christmas cheer for all to hear. Good job dude!
I'd recommend Powerseal USA for the cylinder welding & plating and Crankworks out of AZ for the crank rebuild. Pro-X rods are good. I've had great luck with using both companies - both top notch.
Cameron is the Man. Mad Skills. Raw Talent
Love the video 🔥, well detailed.
Love rebuilding bikes, working slowly on a 2004 KX125. Super pumped now. 👍
Thanks mate 👍 got the same bike (gotta have a 2 banger as well these days lol). Thinking of an overhaul. Will be watching this series!.... Cheers 👍
Crank Works for the crank. Awesome work.
Excellent craftman's skills; excellent video!
Oh cam bro. My little brother brought home a 01 Honda 250r today. I get to go after some reruns of earlier this year. I'm so stoked. May enter in the contest. I now get to refer to your channel. STOKED
THANK YOU. Wow, You really know your stuff.
Also with pressing a steel sleeve into any 2 stroke I have found them to be harder to tune, more prone to cold seizing, and more rattelier. Decently would replate
You’re videos are the only ones I put notifications on for ❤️
I always get notifications about your new videos while I am at work. It makes me even more excited to get out of work. It always makes me sad when I see what happens to some dirt bikes....I wish I could save them all!
Btw Cameron you are very inspiring to watch!!! Keeps me motivated. About to head down to my dirtbike cabin turn on some tunes, crank on the heater and starting tearing shit apart!!!
Very impressive! Very educational and easy to follow (even just sitting watching for brain keeps). Thank you and have yourself a back pat or several 👏🏻🤘🏻
Wanted to stop by and say thanks for the WC discount code, used it on a set of Pro Pegs Ti foot pegs and it helped out on the price. Thanks!
Love it Cameron, Merry Christmas man!
Fantastic channel with great easy to follow amazing videos filled with knowledge
Respect from Brazil!!
Great content and generously paying it forward.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you, your fiance, and family. God Bless.
Looks like how my 1999 rm125 engine looked like. Buying a used bike, its always interesting of what you will find and see how people take care of there bikes. Awsome video and I hope you and your family have a great Christmas and new year.
Been a while since I've watched one of your videos. Glad to see you healthy again man. Love the 2 smoker video
Cameron ... You handled the disassembly & inspection like a pro, with a great attitude !
Someone didn't mix the oil correctly by the looks of the piston or ran it hot , maybe.
Another great video! Can’t wait to watch this build just like the cr250
Merry Christmas to you and Haley hope you have a wonderful new year looking forward to the new build best regards Sean
I love it Wenn you take a engin apart its so satisfying
I've been waiting soooooooo long for this next build! CZcams is worth watching again! Now if I could convince the wife to let me do a total tear down of my 04 YZ450F
Was really hoping to see a rebuild on a 4stroke. Maybe next one.
Would be awesome to see you do a build with limited tools aswell.
In any case, LOVE your videos mate
And do like a ktm50! That would be dope
Nice & Happy holidays Cam
Older bikes had phillips head screws for just about everything including covers so the impact driver was the main tool used.
JIS for the japanese ones
@@user-gdxt-7399
Yeah the tools usually come with both types of cross head.
Dude!!!!! Thing was hammered!!!
Now that's the way tp properly restore a motorcycle and im still praying for you brother
Favorite video so far!
Yeah Cameron does a great job ,he is actually what got me motivated to start my restore project on my 02 CR 250
You know your stuff keep it up great vids
Great video! I just finished my 1st rebuild, 01 rm250. This video would have helped! About half the trans were missing teeth. Replaced all bearings. Had EGR port it and bore to 265.
Great video. My first geared MC bike was a RM80 when I was about 8.
Can't wait for the next videos to scratch my part cleaning itch. Loving the project Cam.
Super good vid Cam! Interested to see how the budget turns out. I’ve attempted several budget builds in the past that ended up being full blown builds once I got in deep enough.
Nothing better than watching your videos in the morning😁👌

Much need motor work! Love your vid brotha💛
amazing brothers
The top of the cylinder breaking away like that is from detonation. The cylinder head also shows signs as you pointed out.
