The weekend of August 25th the members of the Synthwave Dojo community on Discord will participate in a 1 hour production challenge where the goal is to create a micro track of 60-90 seconds of music in 60 minutes.
This is my entry for the challenge, completely done live and uncut, warts and all. You can think of this as an extended how to synthwave tutorial, from start to finish.

I am new to Audio Production and creating Synthwave and I really enjoyed watching you create this piece. I like the idea of this kind of challenge with the set parameters, I will have to try this challenge myself. Thanks!

It's a lot of fun to restrict yourself to certain parameters, I strongly believe it forces you to be more creative. Ultimately, the skill we need to build is to just take any chord progression or musical idea and dress it up as synthwave. I'm here in case you ever have any questions.
