Five years ago Idles change my life forever!! TANGK you guys , still the best band in the world ❤
I was not expecting I’d burst in tears at the end of the video
i know they have gained so much popularity recently but they are still soo underrated. true stars
So much popularity and hate too! I still don't get it tbh is a very good band in my opinion...
top tier humans, top tier performance. love is the fing.
I fell in love the first time I saw them in Bilbao one year ago. Still underrated band. They're CLASS.
I am grateful we have IDLES in our life, also cool to see 4 years ago to now from that Iconic Glastonbury set to now, how they evolved.
Their energy is unreal
drug induced?

I love IDLES, as do so many. Man, I genuinely feel bad about those on here just to troll riff on them. Think they’re missing the point of the band entirely, and whether or not you like their music, if you’re not being a weenie you can acknowledge and admire their message and reason for making noise.
These dudes have helped me through some rough patches; every show we’ve been to is like a warm energetic and empowering hug; the fans and the band are good people, regardless of whether or not you feel so compelled to poop on them in the comment section.😆👍❤️
yeah too right, the state of these comments...
gonna have my IDLES debut at ally pally at the end of november (the first night of the two); fully expecting to feel part of that warm, fuzzy feeling of family amongst likeminded souls - it comes across in the live footage ive seen and comments from fans ive read...
I'm going on one of those two nights! Me and my best mate have only just got in to them from watching them at Glasto on TV this weekend. Am really enjoying discovering this band. @@ManWalksDogs
They were fucking phenomenal live.
nah
@@middleman9183 but were you there?
They always are, incredible energy, they live shows are amazing
God damn i love these guys
I f*cking love you. I was dead till you show up one afternoon in my computer, I hope to dance with you live ❤
That was such an amazing set! You really made my glastonbury special!
Keep doing what you do idles
I love you guys ❤
We need the full set
Most important band in the world right now
iplayer link in description - hmm well its a generic one that takes you to the main glasto landing page of iplayer anyway, but the set is there...
When you grow up into a big girl you will realise that bands are not "important" they are entertainment, that's why the exist that's how they make money. They support the same causes as the people that got to see them to get more of your money.
Impotent you mean
@@martinbob956 they don't just do it for money. They do it to express themselves so I agree that they are one of the most important bands rn

I see a future with idles and fontaines as true headliners

Powerful stuff, never heard before, will seek more, BBC, Worthy of every penny.
Start with From the Basement. Then listen chronologically start to finish - they are one of the most inspiring bands I have come across in the last 20 years
@@essbeenz Thanks for the tips, Steve.
Best. Band. In. The. World. Right. Now.
Not even close you easily manipulated muppet
The. Best.
I can't help but agree as someone who just recently discovered them. Gives me hope for rock and punk in general.
Not a chance, Fontaines DC should've be there.
Have you heard of Bad Nerves?
Legendary.
*checks description* ah yes, my favourite band… GIDLES
❤❤❤❤❤
Great performance.
We Want Full Festival!🙂🇮🇹🤌

GIDLES are GREAT
„the crows“ should have been playing in a stage between fontaines and idles, they sound like the best of both bands

The Hamas one or Isis. can't remember.
wheres the fontaines clip........
Where IS IT
What’s the song about? Our boy really broke down at the end there
I'm not too sure but I think I saw in an interview somewhere that it's about his gratitude towards being able to have his friends and family cause he had a child that passed away a while back.
Gratitude
This band moved stonehenge
FULL SET OR WE RIOT
Some people were watching Fontaines D.C while this was happening.
I like Fontaines D.C.... I'm just sayin'.
No comparison. Fontaines are the kings. But putting these 2 on at the same time is criminal planning
That was the only thing I did not want to happen, Fontaines and Idles playing same time. Really bad planning, Glasto
Yea obviously. Fontaines are way better
Fontaines playing at the same time as Idles should be criminal

Loved this band from the beginning taken my Mrs and kids every chance I got I’ve raised my kids on idles was devastated to hear the crap about immigrants and how welcome they are just shows how long u guys have been away from the uk because yr home is being destroyed by immigration
Feel free to give me grief over this but understand it’s true
These immigrants r not the same as Danny
Cry about it babyman
Plastic Punk
Glastonbury is dead long time ago
Great music, but shit politics, Talbot needs to get his facts right before he stars spouting of about Farage, boat people and pro Palestine, he should watch the footage of what hamas did that day at that festival, he's just jumping on the woke bandwagon because he'll do anything to be liked.
Ceasefire now!
Let down by it.
Maybe you should educate about the last 75 years in the region fella so you understand why Hamas exists….

A profoundly boring and unoriginal band of middle age pseudo-punks, taking themselves far too seriously.
100%
Tell that to the audience at Glastonbury 🤪
I saw them a month ago, and they were great, but I have to agree (about taking themselves too seriously)
you just should upgrade your taste m8
Awful. Waste of a decent spot
Most overrated band out there.

It is isn't it.
