Hi Dave, This is my first ever compact tractor and yes it isn’t built as well as a ku Ito but then it isn’t the same cost…I’ve had mine for 2 years now and some 120hours and only had 1 issue of a coolant hose coming loose so needed tightening on…the 20 is apparently under powered which is why I went for the 26 which wasn’t that much more..which is perfect for my 1.2m flail mower on PTO and pulling 1.5 ton trailer..we have 7 acres relatively flat land on loam…hope that helps
@@TheBigSmallholder Thank you, that's really helpful - we have just bought a house with 4 overgrown acres! I'm in a similar position as while I grew up on a smallholding, I haven't touched a tractor in 20+ years. I was planning on a second hand Kubota or similar, but the time and difficulty in finding a good one and the reassurance of a new machine with a warranty is tempting...
@@davep5829 that was exactly my situation , we were lucky that the place we purchased was nearby and could come out and service …so far we are pleased! We have a front loader with spikes which we could Not do without as we have 3 horses too! Let me know your choice…mine is a manual and you have to double de clutch else it grinds…but I have heard the shuttle isn’t as good with PTO but changes gears better
@@TheBigSmallholder Thanks. We don't have horses so won't need a front loader as will mainly be for mowing, towing, rotavating, log splitting, chipping etc. Really appreciate your comments - hard to find people with 'real life' experience of them.
I'm interested in a similar tractor (26 or 20).
How would you rate the build quality and have you had any reliability issues?
