Moving furniture around and re-decorating our eviroment is a form of therapy. One of my favorite ways to lift my good daily is to change my dishes, it's surprising how a different bug can lift my mood. Really reccomend it.
Tea towels/dish towels are one of my favourite ways to brighten up the kitchen! In Australia lots of clothing brands do really cool patterned tea towels with artist's designs 😊
I have a few 4x6 frames and a postcard sized printer and I LOVE printing out things to swap in and out. Even without frames - the wall over my desk is covered in art I've printed or made and stuck to the wall with washi tape. I love the idea of having seasonal prints - like having a nice sized art calendar! It really does add so much to the space.
Love these ideas! I struggle a bit because we have a lot of stuff we have to keep out for working at home in very limited space, and our desks are not very aesthetically pleasing. Going to work on this!
I just moved to a mew temporary space and def want to freshen up my style while here without spending money. I agree with you that the soft textiles can make such a huge punch, with pattern, color, and texture. My goal in the future is to make some custom pillow covers for different seasons/themes

I love the pillowcase tip. I've sometimes put duvet covers on thicker blankets just to give them a different look. It works like a charm.
