    Congrats on the tractor! Always give your tractor a couple mins to warm up and wait for the light on the dash to fade away before starting. Remember diesels like to run. They don't like to be turned on and off frequently. It doesn't hurt for them to idle for mins on end.

    I battled tractor over bobcat mt85 for a month. I got the mt85. And i love it. I can do so many landscape jobs in half a day that would take a day or 2. Cut sod place boulders haul river rock mulch etc. what i like most is i can work after rains i keep it on plywood and sidewalks. Its the best thing ever

    Hey for your shelf setup try going to your local scrap yard and see if they have any type of shelf’s like you see at lowes or home depo. Most of them sell you that stuff at scrap cost.. very heavy duty stuff good luck.

    These tractors are the perfect size. I used to have a 45hp kioti tractor when I started landscaping. Was a fantastic unit for box grading driveways, creating gravel driveways, levelling land, etc. Glad you like your machine!

    That is a nice compact tractor for landscaping, but what I use for landscaping is a CAT 299D2 skidsteer and that works nice for snow and for landscaping too!!!!

    Love playing around on small tractors. You're going to be able to fly on the Walker when your done grading! Nice work!

  • @jplawnandpropertyservices8968

    I would suggest at the very least making slack in the cables stabilizing the new trees or the lignin will hold the trees stiff when it gets bigger and will make it more likely to break or fall over

    I always asked my self the purpose of the box scraper vs the blade, and looking at your video I understand that it keeps the dirt inside the box instead of doing lines on each sides. Am I right ?
    Nice truck btw, I don't understand how you can have a so well preserve truck that old.

    Been looking at the B2301. The one thing I can’t find online is the total length with the loader on. So with the bucket on the ground to the back of the lower 3 pt bars. Would you measure that on yours and let me know? I have a shed I think it would fit in but need that dimension. Thanks

    Did the Skid Steer bucket coupler come with it ? or did you have to pay extra for it?, I'm thinking about buying the same model I'm a first time tractor buyer, only adding a backhoe and grapple , anything you would of done different, do you have ballast in your tires?

  • @chrisbrandt3642
    @chrisbrandt3642 Před 6 lety +2

    Glad you got one. Is there a 10 day return and exchange for a bigger one. I would complain about the lift capacity. Your going to wish it could lift 2000 lbs or more later. You are not going to be able to lift pallets of pavers without unloading most of them first.
    I know you can make it work. But that is an expensive investment. I think you should have gotten a L6060 or something in the 45hp+ range. Your wife's grandparents tractor was a 30+ HP John Deere right?
    I can hear it now. I wish I had got a bigger tractor. I would shoot for 60HP. That puts you in mid size bobcat range. You will have good PTO power and plenty of lift capacity. Also get it outfitted with a 3rd an 4 the valve if you can afford it.
    You will find plenty of work for a bigger one. I would look at buying new Rhino Mower and bid some local county or municipal lawn mowing jobs that requires a ruff cut mowing. Check out Ryan from How Farms Works video with his big Rhino. Also WrangleStar has one that would fit your rig or bigger.
    I know one could argue that you will always wish you had a bigger one. But I really feel that you should be shooting for a 60 HP sized tractor. It maybe to late to do anything but you never know if you don't at least ask.
    I also realize I don't know your whole situation but at one time you were really looking at getting a skid steer. Well your tinny tactor is smaller that the average skid steer.
    Good luck and I would love to see more videos. Maybe Kubota will see your videos and offer to upgrade you to a more proper size in my opinion unit.
    Chris from Alaska.

      @andrewstratton7095 Před 6 lety +1

      Chris Brandt for dirt work and moving mulch and rock his setup is fine. It doesn't seem like he does many paver jobs so lift capacity probably isn't a huge issue. Also huge tractors can rut up a lawn pretty bad.

    Nice video man! Beer happy for you! I have a Kubota bx and thinking about trading it in on a B series some day. It’s amazing you have the same engine in that one only more displacement and the sound difference of the engine and the way it sounds when it lugs is just music to my ears. I really feel as tho I’m better suited for a B series as I work my bx VERY hard almost daily. It takes it and smiles but some days I just need a little more than she’s got, I love my tractor tho and am VERY happy with it.
    Check out my CZcams channel and lmk what you think!
