I’m a service specialist- Nothing scares me more then remembering missing my first 2 serves of the season....
me too i was specifically taken off the court whenever that happened till finals where the coaches were like come on you can do this youve got to do this were relying on you okay were letting you serve FUN FACT: that was my best serve that season it scored points but we still lost the game but they were our rivals and practically impossible to beat that sucked
You should make a series of your subscribers sending u their plays and you can give tips and all that. Just an idea😖😊

same I would abosoultely love to play for USC and not gonna lie I absoultely s u c k its only been my third year playing club but ive only just gotten my serve over finally after two years so :(
a random person welp it took me about two years to get my serve to go over the net too! never give up bc now i do a jump float and my serving is my most consistent skill. don’t say you suck bc you’ll start to believe it, you’re probably so much better than you think :) !! good luck on the rest of your journey

ahh!!! i remember that was the first ever volleyball game i watched when i was just starting off volleyball. i remember studying everyone’s plays, and always cheering for USC, probably because i just liked red at the time hahaha
but then i remember stumbling across one of your youtube videos a while after, and i remember that i recognized your name from somewhere
so then i continued watching USC volleyball games and i became a huge fan of yours and USC volleyball (i still am lmao)!! i’m now a setter with my dream club volleyball team and i’m planning on playing volleyball as i go into the 9th grade. i continue to benefit from watching your videos when i’m having a tough time. without you as my role model, i would have never continued to play and practice volleyball. thank you, vic - you’re an inspiration to so many young girls and boys out there ❤️

Your such a huge inspiration to me! I just started playing volleyball this year in January, and am getting ready to try out for my high-school team (Depending on what the schools decide to do with covid-19 and everything.. haha..) as an incoming freshman. I'm also going to try and make the club team later this year. USC is 100% my dream school, and being a setter for that team would be absolutely a dream come true. I used to think since I just started in 8th grade my chances of making a PAC-12 team one day would be slim, but after watching your video of how you started playing, and this video as well, it gave me a lot of hope for my future in volleyball! Thanks for being such an awesome role-model and inspiration!
I’m really excited for volleyball. I’m a freshman this year and my coach has me playing on varsity with two of my friends. Varsity had a tournament yesterday and we did really well for our first time actually playing. My dream is to play college volleyball, but I want to stay local!

Yea pls do! I had my coach react to it and while he said some stuff there are impossible like hinata's quick i would love to see another opinion on the matter
sd s you’re coach is pretty right. The quick is completely unreasonable, but the strategies and plays are pretty spot on. Only thing I really see is the terminology used, like one touch, wipe, and chance ball. Wipe is actually just the sub though, the audio says blockout.
@@randomdudewholikesanime1985 actually i found out that their quick is doable. Especially the flaoting toss quick. The reason pro teams dont use it is because its hard for the spiker to spike and give him less time to react to the state of the court mid air. Its a really good trick against inexperienced teams but against pro teams they would just receive it. The falling toss quick tho is actually doable in pro play however the spiker need to have a really good reaction time and body control and mostly only short players have those(which is why liberos are usually short)and short spikers arent really popular in pro volleyball
sd s I have never seen the freak quick irl. I feel like you might be talking about a fifty toss, which is basically a one but it’s minus tempo. That is a thing. If the actual freak quick is possible cross court please send me a video, I’d love to see it

18:55 - so I play club and I brought this up to my coach and she was like "that's impossible"😒 this just made me more upset at that coach cuz instead of OH's tipping all the time or hitting it out we could have done this!!!!
omg tooling is such an important part of the game! I'm shocked they don't teach it to younger players.

I can’t imagine the energy and the adrenaline in that match, that must’ve been amazing. I can’t imagine how my first college game will be😂. Also, it’s ok, my first game in high school, I only played second set cuz I was trash and young and I had 18 errors in a single set so yeahhhhh😂😂😂

Absolutely loved this video! Great reaction!! Crazy how to the average viewer (me lol) who's not super volleyball aware your biggest cringe moment wasn't bad, just seemed like a simple miscommunication with your teammate. What an ending though and in your first Pac-12 game!! For future reactions it would be awesome to see high pressure NCAA tournament games or memorable preformances you had that you remember well to this day.

omg! Victoria i know how you feel! Last year i was chosen to move up to play with the senior high in the 3A State Finals and i was soo nervous cause i was the only 9th grader on the court out of all the older girls PLAYING IN THE FINALS! I was so scared i was going to mess up big time but i played pretty well! We lost and it hurt but it was a great experience and helped me a lot! I hope to become a great volleyball player just like you!!❤❤💜💜
