A fictionalized account of the sinking of the RMS Titanic, it stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet as members of different social classes who fall in love aboard the ship during its ill-fated maiden voyage.

For all you OGs, this is how the second VHS tape opens
OMG YES! There were to VHS tapes. Ahhh good days.
It doesn’t.
You must be thinking of the movie Glue.
This movie doesn’t continue on another tape. It’s like the Something-Sandmonsters idk... well it takes you to a different page and there you choose which page you’re going to go to. And if you choose unically then you don’t go into the one passage into The Chamber of Tolerances. The other chamber is just a heart and it locks like any other heart. Not by a key but by releasing a spridge of CO2.6 which does not come from trees but rather from asphalt. And does not move forth under human command for we are far inferior. Til this day has not yielded to me or produced any results. They say the only one it would yield to was the scarecrow from the Mudhouses in the prairie dock. I think they drove themselves insane waiting for passage instead of moving on with their lives.
Quite silly.
Ok back to reading my book.
@Steven Winterhill We care. So fuck off
Remember back in 2000, I was five, and those 2 VHS split tapes were my childhood.
Omg yes I remember that
Notice how the attendants just threw the life jackets down and yelled at the lower class passengers but the upper class passengers were instructed politely
^ Yes, they were ruder to them, but there were also far more third class passengers than first, and also being below decks was dangerous as the ship began to sink. Ideally, the stewards wanted to get everyone including themselves up to the boat deck as quickly as possible (and then the stewards basically proceeded to lock the third class passengers below decks and cut off basically any and every staircase or way up to the higher decks). So yeah.
This latter fact is an outright lie perpetrated by this movie. @@rominn2184

I reckon he would have cried he's been trying so hard to win her over and she's gone off having an affair I'd say he's more upset than angry.

She never loved him from the start.
He was the bad guy she had to escape from.
Exactly! You can't force someone to truly love you. Gifts and money don't do anything. Rose was a woman who wanted to be seen, heard, and taken seriously. Not be controlled like a windup doll.
It was her mum that wanted Rose to stay with Cal, as he was very wealthy and could offer Rose security, whereas Jack was homeless.

At 17, in today's world, she's still a minor. Cal is a pedophile.
@@TheRexrapper Dude, Cal was an Asshole. Even If Rose and Cal got married he would of been worse to her in later years. And he probably would of cheated on her, Cal looks and feels like one of those guys that would do that. She would of been very miserable in that marriage.

@@bluetrailerproductions7488 He was an asshole in part because of how Rose was acting. Not saying he isn't an asshole outside of that but from what we saw in the film, Rose played a part in how he was acting.
I honestly think the same thing would have happened with Jack in that she would have been miserable. Money doesn't buy love but if Jack and Rose got together and she went from being rich to being broke, that definitely would have weighed on their relationship. I think Jack was just a plot device that helped Rose realize her independence. Jack was never supposed to be the guy she fell in love with. I just think in Rose discovering her independence, she treated Cal shitty in the process. Being straight up with him would have been better instead of cheating on him behind his back.
@@TheRexrapper if he cared for her, he wouldn’t have tried to kill her when he ran after her and Jack. That “if I can’t have her no one can” is a completely possessive mindset. If he really cared for her, he would’ve wanted her to be safe and alive regardless. He probably wanted her for other reasons. It probably has to do with obsession and shallow attraction rather than love. And that she is already a part of his plan for how he wanted his life to pan out. Ras Al Paul she did not cheat on him. Their relationship was completely finished long before that moment. The minute she told Jack that she changed her mind was the minute her and Cal were finished..... not to mention her and Cal did not have a loving relationship... she was going to be forced to marry him for money... He was more upset at the fact that he did not have control over her than her so called cheating on him. Absolutely nothing should ever lead to someone hitting their partner like that. It is a cowardly act. It was the moment that he realized that he had no control over Rose.
Tom Iglesias Piñeiro Cal would not have accepted that. He would have had Jack killed.
Tom Iglesias Piñeiro Due to his aggressive, greedy, and highly ambitious nature, he would have for sure had Jack killed. All around it was a terrible situation for all. I am not fully condoning with how Rose went about the situation, but she had to do what she did to survive. The iceberg hitting the ship was the most panic stricken thing she had to deal with, but in addition to that she had to all find a way to survive and get out of the dreadful situation that she was in. She clearly said at the beginning of the movie “Titanic felt like a slave ship taking her back to America in chains”.
Jessica Campbell oh really? I bought her an expensive diamond and I also really loved her. She pretended to love me but she ran to third class to see Jack. So she really did cheat on me

Sorry for the late response but she did care for Cal as a person (she wanted to warn him of the danger) just not a husband
Rose was still attached to Cal and Ruth, thinking there was still some mutual respect and love. In that moment, Rose felt some maternal instinct to tell them of the emergency.
But at the boat deck when Ruth totally showed her selfish ways, putting herself ahead of third class passengers... and Cal telling Rose he didn't keep Jack's drawing, then Rose saw they were not likeable human beings that could never be redeemed and decided to leave them both for good.

idk, he seemed pretty hesitant to slap her, he knew it was wrong from his after reaction, but his pent up anger got to him and his resistance to not slap and letting things rose does off his shoulders didn’t work this time, like when she sassed him in the dining scene when she was smoking he let her go easily., his slap is kinda understandable and probably well deserved....it’s like going through your girls phone in the modern day and seeing her nudes sent to another guy, she flirted with jack a lot and praised him a lot Infront of cal even tho he’s done much more for rose then jack has, he probably felt unappreciated by rose even after helping her family with debt. i would’ve been jealous to.
