How did the disc get like that? Did they set a bowling ball on it??

I was wondering the same thing. The way it holds that insane arch makes me think that they set it in extremely hot water to make it as bendy as possible and then secured it to a rounded object to maintain that constant pressure to make the shape.

I believe semi boiling water is poured into the flight plate and it makes the plastic expand!

as i recall, you put boiling water into a dog bowl and put the disc on top. the heat softens the plastic and then as it cools, it sucks the flight plate in.
