【Introduction】Love Between Fairy and Devil is a period Xianxia directed by Yi Zheng ("Young Blood"), starring Esther Yu ("A Writer's Odyssey"), Dylan Wang ("Phanta City"), with special appearances by Xu Haiqiao ("A Dream of Splendor"), Guo Xiaoting ("Chinese Paladin 3"), and Charles Lin ("Café. Waiting. Love"). This drama is adapted from the novel of the same name by Jiu Lu Fei Xiang, which focuses on the story of the angsty love between the arrogant big devil Dong Fang Qing Cang and the soft and cute little fairy Xiao Lan Hua. The goddess of the Pixin tribe was exterminated by the demon Dongfang Qingcang (played by Dylan Wang), and was reborn as a low-ranking fairy in the heavenly realm ten thousand years later. In order to gain freedom, Dongfang Qingcang has to sacrifice the soul of Xiao Lan Hua to lift the spell seal on his body. In the process, this devil who has broken his love and desperation falls in love with the gentle and lovely Xiao Lan Hua......

The chemistry is exploding. The first ep completely hooked me and it's only gone uphill from there. The costumes are breathtaking, the characters and emotion has my heart in pieces, and the story is very promising already. I'm loving it so far.

I usually watch KDramas but started this one out of curiosity and was very glad I did, NetFlix has almost uploaded all of the episodes so I am avoiding all spoilers. I must say that Dylan Wang, being only 24 and new to acting is really phenomenal in his role but especially in the episodes where he switches bodies with Orchid. Most actors would play this in an exaggerated fashion, almost cartoonish but Dylan was able to tap into all of the mannerisms and way of speaking of the Orchid character and embody it perfectly, bravo on his acting skills.
Omg this is so true, I knew Dylan would be great in a drama like this, it was perfect. I love there chemistry, I knew they had a great relationship irl because in the drama, you can tell how they work with each other. I wouldn't be surprised if they end up dating, I would ship it very hard.

Omg, I laughed so hard during the scene where Dongfang Qingcang (when Orchid was in his body) started crying because Dongfang Qingcang cut her hair. Dylan really nailed Orchid's personality. And Esther's skill in making her face very cold and emotionless like Dongfang Qingcang scared me, even getting down to the flat tone that Dongfang Qnigcang spoke in... I really believed they had switched bodies!

In the dramas that I have seen Esther Yu she is a very good actress, so different off screen, she is funny very, talkative which is good and open, I'd say she certainly wouldn't put up with rubbish from anyone.

It really depends on whose he's with. His real personality is an extrovert like Esther. They are both Sagittarius too, so they get along very well with each other :) Their personalities are the same lol I think he's quiet when he's with someone mature and introverts, but his personality is like Esther; easygoing, talkative and chatty when he's with someone close, he's also bubbly, playful, gentle, and kind. When it comes to games, he's very competitive.

But it's only in the middle and just spice up the story. I also almost drop the drama because of that part but it's resolved quickly.

Esther is not chubby, she's very lean and slim, and tall. Her cheeks maybe made you see her as chubby, but she's not.
Damn you can really see Dylan's age in this interview. The voice actor that is used in the drama lends a lot of maturity and presence to the character. Dylan brings a level of gravitas, though, as such a young actor.
I like Esther Yu, she grows on you, even her voice 😂 Saw DW on a show and think they have similar vibe. It’ll be fun to watch

She can see through Didi's personality, he is very much like her, even a little more childish than she is. She's acting this way because it's the way to get people around her comfortable, but trust me, she is very mature in real life. She has a very high EQ and IQ. She's not fake either.
