The American T18E2 Boarhound is an incredibly strong low tier vehicle. It has practically no downsides besides mediocre armor, but even that is good enough to resist autocannons. Thanks to its stabilizer, fast reload rate, high penetration, and high damage, it is a breeze to use. It was my go-to for gathering footage when I made more scripted videos.

The American 6pdr is wonderful, absolutely great. The British 6pdr... is not a vibe without filler.
@@overlordminigun6346 the OQFs only drawback is the lack of filler on British guns, which isn't a problem if you broaden your horizons to Commonwealth nations as the others used both filled and unfilled rounds in their 75s
in game british 6pdr is horrible, irl filler didnt fucking work so irl I imagine the brits were laughing their asses off at the american 75's

Britain has no filler because the entire tech-tree's-worth went into the HESH shells for the FV4005 and Centurion AVRE clearly lmao - I think with a bit of practice and some experience though the British 6-pounder, while obviously not quite as easy to use as the US version with its filler, can still be pretty nasty. It never gets old when a Panzer IV shows you 0.1% of its angled side armour and the 6-pounder chomps straight through it without stopping
Another tank that no one can get access to anymore. Vastly undertiered. I don't leave 5.3 without it. So good!

You should play the 2.3 Russian T-80, it has the mobility of a German super heavy, a turret that takes a full hour to rotate 90°, the armor of a truck and a gun that is almost as good as a .50 cal. The pinnacle of Russian engineering!
Completely disagree, the tank is amazing, really fun pew pew gun with quick reload, decently punchy, is pretty mobile, and has pretty good armour for a light tank
Is that the same tank I can get? Turret is slow but not the worst of the bunch, it actually has gun depression and front armor can protect you from bad guns (e.g. the garbage Italian 47mm and the once-ruthless 20mm APCR). Only thing I hate about it is the ton of hull rocking as if you're on a swing

this thing is so much fun but the lack of stab is annoying :( 2nd gen thermals and apfsds and laser rangefinder and hydropneumatic suspension make it great though
War Thunder's wheeled vehicles are so fucked for traction/acceleration off-road; lack of torque specifications. AMX-10RC is slower off-road than the tracked vehicles it outperforms IRL for no discernable reason.

This thing is massive in person. We got the only survivng model at the museum I work at and it's in good condition too.

Man it always is a shock when I see any armored vehicle in person. Even the “small” ones like the StuG, Pz2, Pz3, etc. are still big sumbitches.
I remember this thing being *3.3* back in the day, and still take it up even to 7.7, where it does alright and even *well* sometimes, especially on urban maps. I've long held that the 6-pdr is pound for pound one of the best weapons in the game, and stabilized with APHE it becomes unstoppable.

Boarhound and Suirblinde are probably my most wanted non tech tree tanks. It would be awesome if Gaijin would bring this vehicles back in an some sort of event.

What do you mean no lineup? You can take it any lineup right up to 6.0 or higher.
Back when the harpoon was 3.0(or was it 3.3) that, the t18, greyhound, and m8a1 along with any other US light you wanted to bring (m22, m24) was just such an absurdly powerful lineup at that BR
Rush flank, get 5 kills, get harpoon, drop six sea mines for another 5 kills, back into it with the m8a1
I highly recommend the ZSD63/PG87, I don't know what it is about it but I never seem to get one shot in it, it's ridiculously survivable and the HE belt obliterates aircraft

I would say the 6pdr is one of the best guns in the game, even the british version without the HE-filler. Crusader mk III is probably one of my favorite tanks in the game. Would be awesome to see you play it, and hear your thoughts on it.

Hello! I also have a tank suggestion: the Cromwell I. It is incredebly fast and mobile as long as you don't use the reverse gear and also gets a stabilised 6pdr. It doesn't have any explosive filler, but I find that that often does not matter. It has got a good lineup too and is simply one of my favourite tanks in the game.

You should try the OF-40. It's been my go-to relaxation tank for quite a while now and it's very enjoyable to play.

To be fair, I love how you react on having flank all for yourself. Meanwhile for me it is motly I keep the enemy away with static defence BT-7M, destroying wave after wave after wave, then I look up, I am only one left and, frankly, the three best players in enemy team have 3 times more pionts than me each. So yeah. But stilll, great job.

4:12 so true, I always feel proud whenever I kill a Sdkfz 140/1 knowing that my team won't have to deal with it anymore, the 20mm is really good and the Pz.35 chassis it has somehow makes it much more difficult to pen; all they have to do is angle and most shots won't do anything.
Yes In real life the 6-pounder had great pen, but past 500-yards the 75mm was better, and it had a more useful HE charge.
Once again I ask you to try Concept 3 from british tech tree. It's able to reach over 60kph in reverse and almost rolls when you shoot the cannon while aiming "to the side".
The 6 pounder was an absolutely fantastic gun for shooting at tanks, for shooting at literally anything else though.....
I love the Boarhound and I am sure I will never get one, so I am glad it got a video. I don't think I will ever un-see that cars face now...I hope we might still one day see an inside the chieftains hatch for this beast. Can I request A43 Black Prince, or is that too cruel? Either way, thanks for the uploads, they always put a smile on my face.

i used it to grind the T-80 Event recently and i have 106 deaths and 792 kills in it
One of my favourite tanks! I only play in simu and when it was added to the game it was in the lowest of events against panzer 2s! A total abuse of the beginners. I think this is the tank with my best KD! Almost 1 for 12

the other draw back as to why you wont see alot playing it is if we go to the warthunder market place(one of the few ways to obtain it) it cost a fortune and gaijin doesnt feel on releasing more of it

But... You are right. The 6 pounder was an excellent gun that was used until the end of the war, and even in the Korean War. It even received an APDS round, which had performance similar to the early 17 pounder.

I strongly recommend you try the French AMR.35 ZT3 (Br 1.0) It's potential is very high, cannon can pen pretty much anyone's front plate, it's like the L3/33's bigger brother! Hope to see this soon

Honestly, the Boarhoud paired with the Super Scott and the old event version of the LVT ZiS-2 make for one of the best event-grind lineups I know of, its absolutely filthy.

If you want to show the power or IRST and the BMP-2M I'd recommend taking it out with it's proxy missiles. It can now control all 4 missiles simultaneously, and with IRST you can just spam them out all at once and give a plane a big headache

You should play that one panzer IV with the short little stubby barrel. Thing looks a damn mortar.
It's not only strong in GRB but also a hassle in Airsim. The crew is spaced out so no single shot will wipe them out (either turrent or driver-radioman kill), ammo is hard to explode and just as unlikely that fuel tanks-engine catches fire (main method of killing armored targets).
And you have entire fields of them slowly rolling forward.
I've always liked the M47. It's got a neat aesthetic to it.
You should play the STA3. Has an autoloader and high velocity HEATFS at 6.7, very effective medium tank when you aren't getting shot at.
The stock solid shot is really good too, plenty of spalling and slightly more pen than M82 shot.
I think war thunder should during some seasons allow us to unlock stuff from previous ones like the BM-13 or the boar hound

play the warrior. with a scout drone and thermals, plus a milan 2 that you can fire almost fully hull down via the commander its actually fantastic
That Cromwell you killed at 3:03 was just so stupid. First the round bounces of the angled front plate, then it somehow penetrates the flat upper front plate, and then somehow manages to bounce off the roof of the dmachine gunners hatch before then detonating and killing the crew. Gaijin has made a perfect and flawless game...
