  • In the previous video (part 1) where we turn junk mail flyers into cards, we gel printed onto the Junk Mail flyers to lay the basic foundation of background. In part 2 of this 3 part tutorial series, I will continue enhancing those backgrounds and show 2 additional techniques that will be applied to the Junk Mail flyers cards.

This was a really fun technique to add to the gel printed backgrounds; I just love how the backgrounds turned out.

I love learning about products I didn't know existed, like the air blower. So cool! That looks super handy.

Thanks, I really like it better than blowing air through a straw to move ink around 🙂

ohhh... mmm... ghee... are you using a makeup brush!!!! They look just like the brushes used to put your contour on!!! LOL But seriously.. what are those brushes? And the Tim Holtz air blower looks like what I used when my son at 3 months old had a stuffy nose.. haha. Great video!!! I can't wait for part 3!!!!!

LOL!! There is some cross over.. They are Picket Fence Studio brushes but there are some artists who do use make up brushes! Yes, the air blower looks like the sucker that I used as well on my child.. just larger.. it focuses a stream of air; so you don't have a glob on your project.. it has a hole on the other end.. 😆😆
