- Took some time at the #FreedomFactory to sit with my boy @CleetusM aka Cleeter McSkeeter!! A lot of fun stories here including our first ever meeting when 17-year-old Cleetus interviewed me at SEMA.

My Dad owned a 1/4 mile oval when I was growing up and I remember from about 5years old until I was about 20 now I am 70 and I love watching the Freedom Factory because I see your excitement and that’s what I remember looking forward to your next event! I have watched the first 2 events and the dirt race outback. Maybe a demo derby with a another 100 lap race. Just found this vid do not know how I missed it. Enjoyable
I can’t believe it’s been that many years since I first saw cleetus happen on 1320. Now he’s got a track, multiple nasty cars, dream home and much more to come. Congratulations man you are example of the American Dream

This is the 1st time I've seen Vaughn interview someone and I have to say he did a great job!
that last part about wanting your team to have fun shines through in all the videos, i remember seeing an Instagram story of cooper saying its going to be a great day and being asked why, he replied "i get to go to work"
100% agreed. Its almost sad that I have made it to my late 30's and still don't know "what i want to do when I grow up." I've never really had a job that I truly looked forward to every day. The closest I had was my last job that was eliminated due to Covid slowdowns/oil prices. The only reason for that was that I got to work with friends. I'm getting to the point where I think the only way I'll be happy with my job is if I start something of my own.
I love these Sittin with Gittin videos because not only do we get to see so many great guests but Vaughn is also actually a great interviewer too. And of course, seeing Cleet and Vaughn hanging out together is like christmas come early.
First thing I noticed too. Good interviewers are a little underappreciated because if they are doing their job well you don't really notice. It just feels like two friends bullshitting. Really fluid questions and conversational flow.
The video that really changed Cleetus' game was when he took leeroy to the artificial wind tunnel. Such a giant leap forward from that day
And that’s the story of Cooper getting hired.....the luckiest, and smartest kid in that whole college. Hey, mom, I met this Cleetus guy at school! Stay away from him Cooper, he’s a bum, focus on school.

@@SomeJustice19k it does feel awkward doesn’t it. Like he has to keep Cooper around cause the fans will be pissed if he doesn’t. Cleetus was giving an interview and made a real weird comment about being able to Sue a business partner for all they are worth or something but not doing it. Maybe even this video, I’m just replying, didn’t watch it again. It seemed like he meant Cooper.
@@SomeJustice19k They're still best buds, this "Cleetus is mad at Cooper" stuff is all rumors and hearsay, none of it is founded in any truth whatsoever. It seems awkward because that's Coopers baseline demeanor and Cleetus is always fired up, there's no beef.

Cleetus I’ve followed for years, I gained a new respect for him today, I don’t hate hate but I dislike the normal work life and for him to take care of his guys and make sure they are having fun is amazing. You sir on the other hand are freaking amazing and I love the content, can’t wait to see the upload of you teaching lia to drift!

He is a natural behind the wheel. I have yet to see anything motorsports wise he hasn't adapted to with in a day of trying. You, Garrett, and Finnegan would be a badass weekend of fun.

I met Vaughn sometime around 2004 at a Formula D event at Irwindale. At the time, he was the young cowboy in the sport, one of only 2 cars that were drifting the entire bank at very high speeds (the 2nd was Sam H. in his Viper).
Anyway, he was a super cool dude back then and seems to be even more awesome today. Makes sense that him and Garrett/Cleetus are buddies. Great video!

Mind you guys cleetus worked with 1320 video already at that point he had known Kyle since he was 15.... Cleetus even already had the bald eagle machine i think the following year was the drag week which is where the actual "cleetus mcfarland" video came from

FD orlando, 2019 the year vaughn had his bad wreck, all the drivers are signing autographs. After a long day of working on the car, qualifying without body panels, etc, Vaughn came to the end of the line that was getting cut off due to time. There was a group of guys that had a buddy that just beat cancer, and a few years back they facetimed that buddy in the hosptial with vaughn on the phone from FD orlando. He spent as much time as he possibly could talking to these guys, signing whatever, getting plenty of pictures and just adding that much more to this guys life story. Not to mention him and Chelsea put on a SHOW that night. Vaughn could’ve easily went back to the fancy RTR set up, in the A/C before he went right back out. To me that showed a lot and to those guys, I’m sure that meant the world at the time. (I’m pretty sure majority of the group had RTR jerseys on too) Vohn you’re a great guy, truly a role model.

Dragracing is great . Drifting cars is great also the Sprint car on the dirt track is great. Sometimes rip on the dirt bike is great. But adrenaline Rush is the best hi you will ever get in life. So stay off of drugs kids because I’m sure these two gentlemen will tell you the same. And get behind the wheel and have fun but be safe.Good video guys
