Fits perfectly rear-facing in our truck, which has a slightly smaller back seats. czcams.com/users/postUgkx6_FKRYB2ClSPRyjcd8HptiCS3EiQoNX4 Feels as comfy and plush as our Graco Contender carseat.

This helped a lot. Had to wash this today. Thanks so much for helping me put it back together. Had to use a butter knife to push belts back thru the threading slots though.

This is a great car seat, but I must say that it has got to be the most DIFFICULT car seat cover to take off and clean, and then reassemble. Not sure why the cover doesn't just have Velcro openings so that it can be easily removed for cleaning. That way you wouldn't have to rethread the straps and adjust them over and over. The straps are a bugger to rethread.

i have to say that baby is so patient. lol this was very helpful however it seems like the belt is digging in the babies legs.

Hi I just installed my baby trend ez loc32... but I have a problem.. even though the clips are anchored and tightened to the maximum... the car seat moves easily from left to right... I followed the instructions and it still moves a lot... any suggestions... thank you.

I have a seat like this. When installed, the part of the seat that is attached to the car with the LATCH system is secure, BUT the part that sits on the seat (I think it's referred to as the front even though it's where the back of the seat sits) lifts up---ALL THE WAY UP!!! I can actually flip it all the way vertical without the car seat in the base. This doesn't change no matter HOW tight I get the seat attached to the LATCH system. This seems wrong. How do I fix this?
I was hoping that this video would show us how much play is acceptable in the front of the base, but it doesn't even address this issue AT ALL.

I am finding the same thing and trying to find an answer! That's how I found this video in the first place. I hope I can figure it out.

      Jackie Barbery
      Hi Jackie,
The back portion of the base is not tethered to the vehicle seat, it's tethered at the belt path (latch or vehicle seat belt). You can review all installation methods for this car seat or base in the owner's manual or contact our customer support team with any installation questions at 1-800-328-7363.
All installation videos are demonstrating the Hybrid & Inertia bases. Non of the installations for EZ Flex-Loc or Flex-Loc Base have been produced.
      Thank you,
      Baby Trend

Yeah, that didn't really give us the answer we were looking for. I talked to some installers and they said that the seat is supposed to lift like that. I'm thinking after enough kids get injured from rear end collisions, they'll come to their senses and fix that with a strap around the lower portion of the vehicle seat that will limit how much the infant cat seat comes up.

I've been having a hard time trying to install it in my 2001 infiniti qx4, since the straps are too short to reach the anchors behind the seat! Yes, the anchors are located basically in the trunk!!! And the straps are too short!!! Any suggestions??? I need help! Thanks

Curious. Babytrend has stated that only solid pool noodles are to be used, however, this video shows noodles with holes in the centre being used.

Kim Robinson The video is older, however we do recommend using solid pool noodles.

Okay so this may be a stupid question but I am a new mom, due in 1 month. When you instal the base of the car seat do you have to use the Latch system and the seat belt system together or is it one or the other?
