as much as i like to think this is all cute, there are many moments where the monkey is simply too rough or doesn’t hold the kitty right. In the end it’s just a monkey, doesn’t know better than a two year old but the human recording should’ve separated. - 2 time kitty owner

@@jgooner894 there are moments were the kitty does try getting away, and it seems very malnourished alongside the other kittens shown in the shorts- it most likely wouldn’t be able to get away and has gotten used to this behavior

The monkey clean extremely very gentle with the kitty it may look rough, that’s not mean is literally hurting the kitty just the tail is the most sensitive spot in cats
The kitty seemed to understand the importance of the grooming at first, or at least she/he felt it was to help her/him
He looks like a busy, sassy mom chewing gum prepping his kid up before school

@@catherineturnbull5684 I really hope they aren't docking them. While I dislike the practice in dogs, it doesn't really affect them all that much. Docking a cat's tail is just cruel though.
I don't know if that's the case, but some cats are born with a short tail. I have a cat like that and she was just born that way, all of her sisters had a normal tail, except for her. But that doesn't affect her at all

The kitten seems quite used to this, sure there are still moments of obvious distress but overall you can see that they have some kind of bond. The kitten also seemed to lean into the ear cleaning, trusted the monkey to be near its face and eyes... With its mouth/teeth no less. That is not something an animal would be okay with unless there is some measure of trust/connection/imprinting. Regardless, the kitten even chases after the monkey, eager to play.
Would I fully trust a monkey with a kitten at all times? Nah because a monkey can still act up and lash out, even if it does care for the cat in question.
