TCCC started the Gorshey late but was precisely on time to stop! How thoughtful! All the youngsters (and adults included) were just beginning to enjoy the much awaited moment!
Agreed! I left a comment on TCCC Facebook nightclub evening… those we care need to express so that our community will move in the right direction.. I expressed my views on their Facebook page as: “Tibetan culture is fragile, has been through enough damage. Now it’s time to revive this though Tibetan gorshey Revolution. We need to be aware that Toronto is at forefront of this revolution building bridges among different Tibetan communities worldwide especially with Tibetans in Tibet. For god sake! TCCC stands for Tibetan Canadian Cultural Center and the night club has nothing to do with Tibetan culture. We should not trade Tibetan identity for some quick cash through night club activities. If people are really yearning for a nightclub then better to organize a separate events on other Saturdays. We should STOP associating night clubs with the celebrations of Tibetan cultures!
